We won the 1982 UW-Milwaukee intramural floor hockey championship after our star goalie Frank D’Amato pulled a hammy....or was hungover, I don’t recall it was a long time ago, but still...we won the ducking championship.

Do this!

This could be a galvanizing moment for the team that they can rally around. It’s easy to be a #1 seed, rest a week, and maybe let up a little because you know you have guys like DB to set the tone. Having one of your key vocal/emotional leaders and a key feature of your gameplanning go down suddenly makes everyone stop, refocus, adjust, make a new plan, and go into with a determination to not be the weak link. Kind of like Woodson and Driver going down in the SB. Guys rallied and you saw guys like Jarrett Bush step up to get the job done. I hope that’s the case, otherwise the alternative is that our offense becomes limited because we’re giving BOTH Tackles help and guys like Tonyan can’t get free releases. In the end I think some combination of Lewis + Turner/Jenkins will be good enough. If we lose in the playoffs it won’t simply be because LT was weak.

If Dillon has a repeat performance along with Jones not being dinged up it’ll go a long way in covering up a missing Bak.

Well, if Dillon has a repeat performance it’s pretty much a win.

It’s a crushing blow for sure and I’m glad Bak signed his contract when he did.  Injuries can happen so quickly and unpredictably so at least he has security now.

You can’t replace him, but if there is a silver lining it’s the OL is versatile and deep and they have had to shuffle around things before.

AR's worst games came when pressure came.  Hoping Mayo can scheme in a few more screens and slants to keep defenses honest.

This is what should concern everyone. If they do end up against Tampa, that was the game they teed off on Rodgers and that’s the game they lost Bakhtiari.

I thought the same thing as you when I heard this.  Tampa was really the only team where their front 7 whipped our Offensive line, at least for about 3 quarters.

That said this time a meeting would be at Lambeau where things slow down a little bit.  If that matchup does happen again, our RBs have to do a vastly better job than they did in that game.  It seemed like every time Tampa blitzed, a RB missed their block or were overpowered and guys like Lavonte David and Devin White were getting pressure on Rodgers quickly.

Tampa is a bad matchup but at least it would be a bad matchup at Lambeau in 20 degrees instead of in Tampa in 70 degrees.

Suck ass loss, but still...

We can name 4-5 guys more irreplaceable at this point, yes?

-Adams

-Tonyan (maybe?)

-Jones

Nope, only 12 and 23. This one is going to sting. Make no bones about it.
