When we beat Penn State in the Championship this is no way this will not be a top 4 team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He didn't seem that good
Way to go Bucky!
CRUNCH!!!!
DEFENSE!!!!
GO HOME GOOFERS!!!!
Would love to see Shaw break one to just twist the dagger!
If Bucky beats PSU they will be in the playoffs.
Minnesota hasn't won the axe since 2003. Pitiful.
YEAH BABY!!!
What a half and show of heart by Bucky!!
I love this team and PC as the coach. WOW!!!
Thank you Bucky for a great and fun year. Now there's more work to do, go get it done 1 game at a time!!!!!!!

And it was a marvel to watch. D made the plays and the O backed them up with points.
Good old fashioned smash mouth football! Beautiful!

Turned out it was just gas...
I have attended Minnesota's last 3 wins
Been to a few UW wins also but I stay the hell away from this matchup
Good to see Leidner totally melt down and the D step up big time
Bring on the Penn State
A lot of negativity in this thread. Sometimes you have to just sit back and watch. This defense is something special. They turned the game and brought it home. Not confident on getting a playoff spot just because this is Wisconsin and they won't win the "popularity contest". Great year no matter how it shakes out.
So are we happy it's Penn State???
Why not?
All we can do is play the team on the other side of the field.
Go, Win, let the chips fall where they may. It's the only thing we can control and at this point there is no way the committee can ignore a B1G championship.
Don't fret Goldie. It's out of your or mine's hands. Let the kids go win and just enjoy whatever happens!

Agreed GBFFL. I couldn't have said it better myself. The negativity around here has really gotten absurd.
Win next week and at the worst we go to Pasadena....alls well with the world

I think they'll need either Clemson to lose to Virginia Tech or Washington to lose to USC/Colorado.
Alabama is in, even if they lose in the SEC Championship. Clemson, Ohio State, and Washington are all 1 loss teams.
It's unlikely that the committee will take a 2 loss team (Bucky or Penn State) over any of the 1 loss teams.
Not that I feel that sorry for them, but imagine if you are a U of M fan right now. You lose a game at Iowa on a field goal at the gun and then get hosed today against Ohio State. As an impartial viewer watching that game, the officiating was horrendous against Michigan. Harbaugh will probably make a 25K plus donation based on his comments after the game (but he was right). Michigan will end up as the 4th team in the Big 10.
Both Clemson and Washington are playing well now. I don't see Clemson losing. IMO USC over Washington is a real possibility. Colorado will not beat Wash from what I have seen. Therefore I am a Utah fan tonight and a Trojan fan next week.
I'll be glad that the Corey Clement era will come to an end this year. He leaves a LOT of yards on the field, and he has become turnover prone. Shaw could be special.
The story of the first half was dropped passes. The one Minnesota dropped in the end zone and the ones Badgers receivers were dropping all over the field. The best catch made by a player in a Badger uniform was by Sojourn Shelton. That's not good.
But 24-0 and 4 INTs in the second half was a fitting end to a memorable regular season. Colin Cowherd called them a 6-6 team. Most thought 8 or so wins. 10-2 and a conference championship in sight, and a shot at the final four? Paul Chryst has the program rolling. What an accomplishment and what a season. Playing with house money, now...
It's really your typical UW football season and we've seen this movie before. Zero expectations coming into the season, and they defy expectations and have a great year. Given this situation, it would not surprise me at all to see them win next week, get in the playoffs, and make some noise. That's the way this year has gone and it's been fun to watch. 10-2 with this schedule? Nicely done Badgers and Chryst. It's certainly taken the sting out of a disappointing Packers season so far.
Next year they should be set up pretty well and I think Chryst has them on the right track. Hornibrook needs to get better but they have good depth and their schedule is a lot more forgiving.
I've been unwavering that Horni should start and take all the snaps.
Houston should start and take all the snaps in the next three games.
Yeah, I think the scouting report is out on Hornibrook, and you can't be second guessing yourself at this stage of the game. Houston should have the shot to end his career in the biggest game of his life.
