The Bears rivalry is a real football rivalry.  With the Vikings, it's just mean-spirited jealousy and hate by a group of forever wannabes with zero class.

Bears fans are obnoxious but I have grown to actually like them.  They get it.

I think the rivalry with the Bears is a real rivalry. The Vikings and Lions "rivalries" have been so one-sided aside from a couple good years for those teams. Those games are rarely interesting to me. No matter how down the Bears or Packers are though, both teams always bring it. It's never an easy win. I have a respect for the Bears that I don't have for the Queens or Detoilet...that's the Bears organization and players, not necessarily the fans (although we have a couple cool ones here).

I find myself slightly concerned that a FB that receives spot duty was able to neutralize a DE Green Bay just inked for substantial coin. But whatever. Kuhn did the job he was coached to do.

Loved going to Soldier Field and ripping Chicago's heart out again but it pales in comparison to the euphoria I'll never, ever, ever forget when this happened:

I remember where I was standing. I remember how I was standing. I remember what I was wearing. When Buck said "Shields" I remember thinking "holy **** they did it" like it just happened.

Then again I remember exactly where I was standing at Lambeau when Collins picked off Cutler 3 weeks earlier that started that improbable run to number 13.

The NFC-CG that year was on my dad's birthday.  My parents go out to one or another of the crappy chain restaurants every Sunday, and Dad called me up to ask if I'd like to go out for lunch with them.  I figured I'd get back in time for the start of the game, but after I accepted, my dad said, "Come over and we'll leave around 3, OK?"

Thankfully, those chain restaurants have lots of TVs, so I was able to crane my neck and see the first half of the game at the restaurant while my parents were talking to each other.  Yeah, I'm a lousy son.

I came across this video a couple months ago and have it saved and have re-watched it probably 25 times already.

It literally brings tears of joy to my eyes and I just laugh.  It really does exemplify how football is such a truly great game.  But it also shows the genuine emotion of fan pride, ecstasy and agony.   The lone pensive Bears fan in the plaid shirt at the bar.  The Packers fan praying for broken Bear fans hearts.  The deflated look of despair.  The camaraderie of elated Packer fans hugging, laughing, cheering and flag bearing.

I love the near the end where the girl screams "I hate Aaron Rodgers!"  and the best is the girlfriend/wife that sheepishly asks "did they lose?" and then giggles.  Classic!  Truly a game for the ages.

This game was remarkably one of the greatest Packer regular season victories.
