Positives:

+ 2nd half defense allowed only 3 points.

+ Gmo Allison making the most of his PT.

+ Jones is a play maker / difference maker. That sure tackle on 3rd in OT was huge.

+ Brooks showed we do have a little depth at OLB now.

+ MM adjusting his play calling in the 2nd half.

+ Rodgers bouncing back after that pick 6.

Negatives:

- Marty B with two bad games in a row now.

- Monty did not look confident, fast or elusive. His pass pro was sub par as well.

- First half D looked like we were playing ATL again.

- Martinez was responsible for both Bengal TDs given up.

Neutral

- Kevin King was alright. Competed, won some and lost some.

Jones made some big plays and big mistakes, that one touchdown was not on 50, it was on 27.

King did fine, I liked his presence.

Brooks made a play set up by 51.   Other than that, he really was absent.

Did Dial play?

The team recovered on the hottest day ever at Lambeau and won the ****ing game.  With HUGE guys missing from the regular team.

12 is still figuring things out with the cobbled OL.

80 has been a bust.

Nice to see Kendricks show.

Monty is feast or famine.  At times he looks like a bull and then others he looks timid.  Not sure what to make of it yet.

I believe the time all the backups are getting will help the club in the long run.

Quick rest, get better, and F the BARES!

+++++

King gave up some plays but dude has talent.

Jones looked really good.  More of that guy Dom.

Jordy was Jordy - clutch

Mase- you want to ice him and he'll just kick it down the middle

Brooks with several pressures

------

Davis returns or lack thereof

Injuries and banged up OL

Milwaukee crowd shennanigans

catts showing up to gloat only to get beeotched

Disagree on this. Martinez was closer, Jones tried to go around him to get to the wide open back....

Then 2 touchdowns.   I was referring to the slant.

The wide open flare to the RB was man to man with 27 on the coverage and it didn't get passed off at all.

But both of these cases were in the 1st half.   I think the important factor is that it got fixed.

I love the kid and want to see more!

We agree on that. King and Jones took some lumps here and there, but that will pay off in the future.

It was Jones. The Packer coaching staff better recognize that talent trumps experience in this case. Get him in there a lot, and the plays will keep coming.

The Packers resembled the team we all think can be a Superb Owl contender in that second half. 20-3 and playmaking from #12. Defense needs to start playmaking too- where are the turnovers?

Easy to get frustrated with so-so wins against teams that are proving to not be very good. But like most year with this team under Thompson and McCarthy, they are not as good now as they'll be in January. Wins like today are huge- they can't play like this in January- but they won't, so they're ok.

I don't get the whining about 88.  He often had NOwhere to go.  Bengals were constantly clogging lanes and filling gaps.  He had absolutely no help from his OL.  That's gonna happen when half your starting OL are out.

Bennett could turn into a problem if the he and offense don't find some way for him to produce.  He's an emotional guy and can either check out or become a distraction.  I think AR realizes the kind of weapon he can be and will make every effort to fix it.  But he's gotta stop the drops.

I hear ya about the blocking and I agree, DH.

2 things at play here as I see it: 1) He is getting extra scrutiny as a converted WR; and 2) It looked like he was hesitating a little more today at the top of the hole, more so than the previous 2 games. I don't think either is his fault.

Packers came out flat in the trenches today. I'd call it a hangover from the Atlanta beatdown. The outlet guy always gets the blame for that.

AR12 gets 1st OT victory

Vogel is a big difference maker this year!

Piss-poor effort in 1st half.

Very poor tackling during Bengal's returns.

Poor tackling on the D, as well.  What is this, touch football?

Trevor Davis -- quite making 6 short tentative cuts in different directions!   Pick a direction and GO!

why not give the LT a little help from a tight end?

This was always going to be a tough game. Missing seven starters against a team on 10 days rest.

I still don't know why Dom has to pull guys like Jones off the bench. Maybe he feels like they're not ready to play his intricate schemes. All Josh Jones did is come off the bench and lead the team in tackles, had two sacks, and three tackles for a loss.

GB D did a GREAT job in the 2nd half. Limited TOP. Got off the field on 3rd down. That 2nd half did wonders for Thursday night.
