...because even Brak can pick this game up with his antenna on NBC (if he points it toward Aiken)

PS. Apologies on thread title....I'm not in mid-season form.

If you would've only played more in Week 3......

Do you think "Eagles and Falcons Dog Fight for Early NFL Supremacy" would have been any better?

Ha ha dude.  It was good enough for me and mine in the 70's, good enough for us now.  Church, the last half of Homer Formby, and the NFL on CBS.

I really wish the players would think again about how they structured practices in the last CBA.
I can't argue they are removing some risk of injury, but the quality of the product during the first few weeks in sub-par. Surely there is a compromise to be made.

Thanks collective bargaining agreement.

Nobody plays in Pre-Season. 1st 2 weeks suck.

Not sure what the solution is. Jerry Jones' idea of cutting the preseason and playing 18 regular season games won't fix the fact that the first 2-3 weeks will suck as the OL gets used to communicating on stunts, etc. Even if they play sucks, if I'm a GM or coach I'd rather sit guys in preseason that lose guys to injuries in meaningless games. At least every team is in the same boat.

suits clamor for fewer preseason games but teams are using them for player evaluation more than preparation for the season so we end up with 6 preseason games - 4 actual and the first 2 of the regular.

SNAFU - per usual with the NFL

I rooted for the Eagles in this one because of 6:22. Excuse me, I meant to say 38 to 7. Also, because I hate Atlanta.  Way too many penalties in this game! I did not like the Aaron Rodgers reference from Al Michaels when he spoke of how this season, refs will be blowing plays dead--like when Aaron Rodgers would quickly call a play while the other team had 12 men on the field, instead of letting the play progress. I never like it when Aaron is mentioned when a change in the rules is brought up. The tackle the Eagle's pass rusher made on Ryan when he "put his full weight on" the QB when tackling him was a reference to Barr driving Rodgers into the turf.  Also another 'was it a catch?" debate. The League has to get their sh_t together.
