I didn't watch the game.  The NFL ratings continue to drop.  I'm sure it was just due to the weather delay.

TV ratings, in the traditional sense, have dropped across the board with the "cord cutters" viewing no longer being measured by traditional means. However, the NFL share of measured viewers is higher than ever.

I still like the NFL, not as much as I once did, but still like it.  One thing that's probably affected me a little bit, the near perfection of the Green Bay Packers from late 2010 - late 2011.  Once you see that level of play, as a fan you always want to see it again, and it's something we might never see again in GB.  It's like chasing a high that you can never quite duplicate.

I find this hard to believe.

I used to watch everything NFL related. Nowadays, if it isn't Packers, I have no interest in the league.

Pull out your calculator and punch in what percentage of the population you are.

For example, seven of the ten highest-rated broadcasts last year were NFL games. That's a share the league has never had.

My wife is still shocked every season that I no longer want Sunday ticket. Football just ain’t what it used to be...at least, to me.

I was trying to weigh the benefit of pony up cash and I found none.  When I did have the streaming service, it was about as good as those streams out of Europe.  But hey, I got to pay a few hundred dollars for it.

I have had the ticket for 4 yrs, I usually threaten to cancel and they give me about half off.  Last year they did not include the Red Zone and I was pissed.  I called up yesterday expecting the same charade with even less bennies.  Knock me over with a feather......they gave it to me for FREE, included RZ and the fantasy channel and took 60 dollars off my monthly bill for a year.

Yup, free.  They said I am a good and valued customer whom they treasure.  I asked a couple of times what strings were attatched and it appears to be on the up and up.

A friend of mine just went thru the same thing with Sirius Radio,  he got it for 37 dollars opposed to the reg charge of approx 230.

The satelitte companies must be in a bind, hoping that we remaining customers will think of them with good will and will keep re upping.

We do this thing in the neighborhood where every week we follow the game on the ESPN live Gameday feature and then after the play we recreate the play to its authenticity in the back yard. We usually have one guy video record our recreation on his camera, and then after we are done we watch all of our recreations as it was a live game. It saves on $ and keeps me in shape so I don’t have to get a gym membership. Thinking about posting on YouTube.

I’m usually Rodgers.

Say Hi to Danica for me

Better idea. Recreate the top 10 plays in Packer history and post those.

Starr sneak. Favre to Sharpe in Detroit.  Rodgers to Cobb in Chicago. Lombardi sweep. Freeman “He did what!?!?!?” Rodgers to Cook in Dallas. Upon further review.

What else???

I’ll give you 250 takes for anyone to recreate Rodgers throw to Jennings on 3rd and 10 in Dallas. In the words of Fortune in Rudy. It ain’t gonna never happen!
