Ask BPS and Jaymo. They know it all.
Todd Bowles out at the Jets.
Bowles and Koetter might make a good coordinator tandem. Scoring was not Tampa's problem even with the unholy union of Stewbeard and Jameis and Bowles was working with drek on defense and did well with modest talent in Arizona.
Not a firing but a hire.
Adam Schefter reporting that Mike Mayock will be the next GM of the Raiders.
Nice move, Chuckie.
Sources: #AZCardinals coach Steve Wilks has told his staff during a meeting that he will not be the coach going forward. He has not yet heard it official from owner Michael Bidwill. But that is what he has told his staff.

#Broncos have fired coach Vance Joseph, source said. Two season without a viable QB and now unemployed.

Gase will likely draw a lot of interest, including the Packers
Some (questionable) speculation out there that he's already the frontrunner.

Like him much better than Josh McDaniel.

No idea how that dude lasted so long.
Mike Mayock is apparently the new GM in Oakland/Vegas??

I live near Cincy and at first all the Bengals fans here at work were cheering. But now they are worried they will hire Hue Jackson. I can't say I blame them for worrying about that.
Honestly don't know where to put this, but here seems as good a place as any...
Raiders hire Mike Maycock as their GM? LMFAO!
Ask the Loins how hiring Matt Millen worked out for them...
When you get down to it, if winning the big one is the goal, most coaches fail.
Most guys at this level are good coaches. Most will be fired. It's a crap shoot.
Back in the day I thought Dan Devine was the answer, Forrest Gregg anyone?
Good luck to Gutie and the Irishman.

It's called the Brown family in Cinci
Raiders win 3 straight Super Bowls now. 😁
Gase/Bowles as coordinators with Pettine HC?
Source: The expected #Falcons moves are on the way. OC Steve Sarkisian, DC Marquand Manuel, and Special Teams coach Keith Armstrong are out.

Why all the love for Gase? Didn't he think it was a good idea to bring back and start Cutler in Miami?
Cutler's problem was always between the ears. The right coach could manage around that. He had that, somewhat, in Denver with Shanahan.
He brought Cutler to Miami because Tannehill got hurt and there was noone else on teh roster.
To be fair to Gase, he had just coached Cutler 1.5 years earlier to a respectable (for Cutler) 92 rating with the Bears. I think he thought Jay would hand the ball off and complete easy passes, little did he know Jay was less motivated than normal to do anything.

Well, Wikipedia already says it’s so, so it must be right! 🤣
Chuckie got his yes-man and the Raiders will be screwed for another decade.

They can always re-hire Lewis. He has been there so long they probably named a building after him. I always thought of him as an institution with the Bengals. Lewis being fired kind of upsets the balance of the universe.

If the NFL is truly a copy cat league, someone will then hire Mel Kiper. That should be an interesting show.
How many interviews have been scheduled for our ass't coaches?
Moss
Hostler
Graham
Simmons
McCurley
Zook
Surely these guys must have some demand...
gase is a good coach, i would hire him
Sources: The #Jets are expected to interview former #Packers coach Mike McCarthy for their vacant head coach position. #NYJ has one of the more coveted jobs and McCarthy would get to work with Sam Darnold. This is his first known interview.

MM is too nice for NY. Yes, he'd get to work with Darnold, but the NY press and expectations would be onerous. But, if MM hires an innovative OC and stops running the offense himself so he can concentrate on Darnold and the team as a whole, I think he would be very successful. It's something he should have done a long time ago in GB.
Can't wait to see him deal with the New York media.

Tom Clements.
McCarthy has the option to sit out a year and collect 8 million.

Yup, one brain fart wasted time out in a game he could have won and his stupid face would be plastered all over the tabloids. Gotta be tough for that, Mike is football player tough but who knows if he can take that. Not many can.

Based on the reports I read on his discussions with the Cardinals, I'll bet he takes that. Then, after a year away from the game and so many teams salivating over the 2020 QB draft class, he can write a great ticket.
Clements and Winston Moss hope he gets the NY job. Or Cleveland job. Or Miami job. Or the Arizona job......
“How did everything go to shit so fast the last few years Mike?”
“What is you’re plan for (insert QB name) when you couldn’t get Aaron Rodgers to the playoffs?”
”Can you give us an idea of who you’re going to hire for your staff”
Id give anything to sit in on an MM interview to see how he handles some of the hardball questions.
