My take is McVince is gonna sit home, get in touch with the kids, take a Pettine-like sabbatical and hit the market hard next year when all those good QBs will be in the draft and someone like AZ will hire him cause they're sold on what he did with Favre and Rodgers. If he HIRES GOOD ASSISTANTS, who knows what happens?

This is shocking to me. Unless the Browns already know they are retaining someone already on staff, you'd think he'd be a natural fit. He'd be a couple of hours from where he grew up, working with people he already knows, and where a trip to playoffs would be considered a huge accomplishment.
Maybe Eliot, etc. aren't that high on him?
Or perhaps they (correctly) view his offense as an anachronism.
Maybe the Murphy structure and retaining McVince was enough reason for them to cut bait? Sure starting to look like it.

Vicks Fangio is HC/DC in Denver but GM Elway wanted (former Den HC) Gary Kubiak as OC so that eliminated Munchak. Now Fangio is HC but really Co-HC w. Kubiak. Maybe it works but it seems like Elway trying to recreate the past w. Kubiak.
TWIST: Kubiak was Ravens OC with Joe Flacco in 2014. I bet Donkeys bring in Flacco as their QB.
