I just got home from work after a fairly annoying day…then I realized it was Thursday and there’d be football which made everything better. Then I saw who was playing. And back to annoyed we are.

Leave it to the Bores. Only team that could get a rare win and F up the celebration. On the other hand, it's good to know how much space GB takes up in their heads. It took everything I had not to chant TBSS as the clock wound down vs the Rams this past Sunday.

We were just there in July and have to concur on the food ..... mashed peas? We had better luck with meals in Scotland & Ireland. Best to stick to ethnic restaurants in England.
The cuisine in UK is the only way you can get comedy like Monty python. Fish and chips notwithstanding.

I was stationed in England in the mid to late 80s and literally the only thing I ever ate off base was fish and chips and Yorkshire pudding but only when they put beef gravy on it.
True story. They got their first KFC's there in the 80s and being a drunk 19 year old I got all excited. What I didn't know is that at that time they fed their chickens fish meal so guess what the KFC tasted like? yep fish flavored chicken. I doubt that is the case anymore but damn just damn their food is bad.
