Freeman did hit a home run off of Hader in the post-season last year, but Hader has a very impressive regular season streak going.

In his last 32 regular season appearances, Hader is 1-0 with 24 saves. He has pitched 41 innings and given up 0 runs, 9 hits, and 14 walks while striking out 53.

He hasn't given up a run in a regular season game since July 28th.

Having Yelich drop off massively in production after hitting his knee with that pitch hurt the team’s offensive profile massively.

Having Keston Hiura go from looking like a perennial All Star to absolutely lost two seasons later hurt just as much.

Small market teams can’t afford to have two hitting stars fall off a cliff like that. Somehow the Brewers have still been very good.

If just one of them were somewhat close to where they were, our fortunes would look radically different.

most concerning for me, right now, is Woodruff’s inconsistency. It’s early yet, but he needs to get it going.
