And our hitters are hopeless against him
Great strategy
Hope it backfires against them

FIFY
Guys, I was joking.
Have you to hope now the bats wake up because Fried owned their asses
Kinda go-time for the offense... but this is what's been going down for the last month. It's not a surprise at all.

It's so hard to tell with you.
Just get bored. Like to Mix it up and mess around.
Here is our chance. Vogelbach has a good eye and can draw a walk as well as get a hit. Then bring on Navarez to get the lead.
And thatβs what she said.
How can Matzek be one of the best relivers and be 0-4?
Yep this offense sucks
The hitting approach to go up there hacking has got to be at the core of their problem. But itβs also about your top tier talent not playing at the level required to justify their salary, too. No where to go but upβ¦
Here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!
First two guys reach, heart of the order comes up.
Absolutely nothing.
You don't have to tie it up there, but you have to get at least one.
Yelli will set the table in the 9nth
Garcia epic fail
Whereβs the clutch hitting on this team? Wait, whereβs any hitting on this team?
Canβt be up there hackinββ¦ just not ready for prime timeβ¦
If the Brewers lose this one this series is absolutely up for grabs. The at bats these first two games have been atrocious.

The Brewers have only 5 guys making over 3.2 million.
Hader at 6.7 million is still a bargain. Garcia at 10.7 million has been good.
Cain makes 16 million.
Yelich makes 14 million (before his 7 year, 186 million dollar extension kicks in).
Those two have not been awful, but you expect a lot more impact for that money on a small-market club.
J. Bradley Jr. makes 6.5 million. No comment necessary.
Those big money guys are going to have to come through during the rest of this series.
Those 2 are up in the 9nthβ¦..
I prefer to watch games with hopefulness.

Put on your rally cap
Wong is at 7 million a year as well. He's been worth it as well.

2 extra-base hits in 57 at-bats.
10 for 57 overall. 4 walks, 24 strikeouts, 1 HBP.
175 BA, 242 OBP, 246 SLG, 488 OPS
Itβs a start
As Music City said earlier in the thread, Yelich has become what Craig Counsell was as a player. A spray hitter who draws a lot of walks and offers no power whatsoever.
2 on againβ¦
Potentially 3 more at-bats with the tying run at the plate.
4 already in the 7th and 8th
Luke Maile?
What the hell is he even on the roster for?
Obviously for the walk off DP
Nice job Counsell
You are batting Luke Maile in this situation?
Just fucking stupid
Yep. In a best of 7 Iβd feel OK about this series. Now? Flip a coin.
Win 1 in Atlanta and come home and win it in Milwaukee.
2nd best road team in baseball this season. Get a fucking clue. The other team is out there trying too. Tshmack posting is an epic fail.
Nothing that a few hits canβt fix. Teams get hot and teams slump, itβs baseball.
Come on Freddy.

Obviously he went with the righty, but I'd rather have I'd rather have Narvaez there, even as a lefty.
They are a club that struggles to score runs and they basically have to keep a third catcher who can't hit (Maile) and a 5th outfielder who was one of the worst hitting position players in baseball this year (JBJ) on the postseason roster. The other options are even worse (Keston Hiura).
With the Brewers starting pitching, they have a chance against any team in any game.
With the Brewers offense, the other team is going to have a chance in every game even with the Brewers dominant pitching.
