Nine turnovers in the 4th quarter. The Bucks are lucky they were playing the Bulls. An effort like that against the Nets or Celtics is a 25 point loss.
The Bucks had 21 turnovers to the Bulls' 11. The Bulls had 16 offensive rebounds to the Bucks 11.
The Bulls have 15 extra possessions and still lost.

Giannis said it was too much time off between games. I couldn't even guess what a foul was in this game.

Giannis & Lopez were 15 for 24 from inside the arc.
The Bucks were 19 for 60 on all other shots.
The good news is they got the win. I don’t know what it is with Bud and his playoff teams, but game 1s are real clunkers. Having a week off didn’t help as they were out of sync and made a lot of mistakes.
In the end, it was their defense that won this game. The Bulls had their chances to steal it but couldn’t make a shot nor could they stop Lopez and Holiday late.
I expect a better Milwaukee team in game 2.
If Middleton even has a D-level game, Game 1 isn't close. Middleton, Holiday, Connaughton, and G. Allen can't play any worse than they did yesterday. They went 3 for 21 from three with 12 turnovers.
Those three guys missed a number of uncontested 3s. It’s not like Chicago played great D, so I expect that to improve.
The turnovers sure seemed like they were uncharacteristic of this group.

How Rudy Gobert is listed but not Giannis is laughable. You think players and coaches are more concerned about him v Giannis? Not likely. He’s unplayable against more athletic bigs.
As for Bridges and Smart, how are they better than Holiday?
Was at a family thing so couldn't watch the game live, but the Bulls were throwing up a lot of brick 3s in the second half that helped us a lot. Once Giannis got back in late and took over the game, we had it. I still expect a sweep, though I could be wrong.

Holiday has been what Bridges was this year for about the last 10 years. He just never gets credit unless it's Popovich on the Olympic team.
Smart is a great defender, but his real value is that he's got a little crazy in him and plays really, really dirty. He makes guys uncomfortable because he plays reckless and injures guys. Holiday makes guys uncomfortable without being dirty.
Giannis is the best help side defender of all time and has more chase down blocks in a typical season that Gobert has in his career.
We're recycling a thread from the regular season for the playoffs? OK. Anyway, assuming the Bucks win the series against the bulls they will face the winner of boston/brooklyn, and I'm enjoying watching those 2 teams beat each other up. Hope it goes 7 games.
