I think the Heat are going to make people tune out early today. They are just killing the Bucks right now, 17-8 with wide-open 3 after wide-open 3.

With Middleton and Giannis out, the Bucks strategy appears to be have Connaughton play like he's Steph Curry. He's taken 15 threes in the about 35 minutes of playing time. He's made 3. He's not a bad 3 point shooter, but having a guy shooting 36% from there in his career laughing one every chance he gets is not a sustainable offensive strategy.

Looks like the Bucks are going with the b squad the rest of the way.

I agree. They should just have had Holiday and Lopez develop knee or back soreness yesterday and dropped any pretense of being competitive.

I'm sure Giannis' knee is sore, but obviously if this was the playoffs he'd be playing.

Why not rest some of the other key guys too? The Bucks would be cooked if something happened to Holiday as well. Why waste him in a game like this?

If Middleton returns and is healthy for the playoffs, the Bucks are in the top 3-4 teams most likely to win the title this year.

If Middleton isn't healthy, the Bucks have zero chance. They may not even get out of the first round of the playoffs. If they do, it will probably require Giannis averaging 40/15/8 in a series.

The Bucks are way too limited offensively without Middleton.

The problem we have as fans is that we have no idea whether Middleton is really ramping up to come back. The way the Bucks handle injury information we don't know whether he has mild knee tendinitis or has a career ending knee injury.
