Griffin had so much promise early in his career but quite honestly heâs an afterthought now and the stupid tough guy antics get old. I like how Giannis lets his actions on the court take care of business

I really thought the Pistons would put up a good fight last night, but man they are not good. It's weird seeing all those ex-Bucks on that team.
I sort of wish all those ex-Bucks could somehow be part of the Bucks organization instead of being exiled to Detroit, but all those guys were end of the bench guys anyways. Feel bad for Maker more than anyone, but he just doesn't look like he has the true upside that some thought he did in his first year or 2.
I donât mind Dwane Casey as a head coach but the fake bad boys act from 30 years ago just doesnât seem to have the same effect with this current group of Pistons.
Griffin may fill up the stat sheet but heâs not a winner. Neither is Drummond.
Griffin is on the books for 2 more years after this season for close to 80MM. Drummond has a player option next year for almost 30MM that he will most certainly exercise. Itâs not until 2021/22 that they clear out major space.
Think about this for a minute- Griffin, Drummond, and Reggie Jackson account for 80MM this season!!!
Not to mention how without that trade, Griffin is still a Clipper, and theyâre nothing of what they are now today. This trade, which no one understood, was the shrewdest move in the NBA in the last 20 years. Who was the architect? Jerry West of course...

The Clippers had to have inside knowledge that Kawhi (and maybe even Paul George) was eventually coming before they traded Griffin and Chris Paul and let DeAndre Jordan leave.
I don't feel sorry for either Blake or Chris Paul in that they are making about 75 million combined a year, but it must suck to go from being at least an outside threat to go the finals (and in Chris Paul's case it happened with both the Clippers and Rockets) to where they are today.
