Halliburton is only making like 5MM per year and he’s under team control for the next couple of seasons. He’s a fantastic value given his talent.
I don’t think he’s the defender or rebounder that DDV is but he’s a significantly better and more consistent offensive threat. He’s shooting over 40% from 3. He’s also really good at distributing the ball and is an 80% FT shooter.
The Kings are paying Buddy Hield a lot of money and he could be their starting SG but again, unless the Kings are looking to dump salary why make that deal? A DDV and Nwora for Halliburton would work and their expiring contracts would save Sacramento about 6MM next year.
