Has been a special journey that's for sure. I was too young to really appreciate the 71' Championship, although old enough to recall be devastated that Kareem was heading to LA.

Was at the recent game for Marques' jersey retirement. Actually got pretty emotional, as it seemed so long ago since the Bucks were good and had such special players like Sid, Junior, and Marques. Main reason for my emotion was that Marques was my long departed grandfathers favorite Buck - he would have been proud to be there that day. My gramps was "ALL City" Basketball player who gave me my love for sports.

I agree that we might not win it all, but it is simply amazing to have watched Giannis develop into the worlds best player...... and he's a good person to boot. #goodparenting

I know a lot of people don’t care for the NBA, but they are really missing out on this Bucks team.  Not a lot of drama and egos and Giannis is just incredible to watch.

We forget how fun playoff basketball can be as this team hasn’t really been a threat since 2001.  That team was fun but it’s a shame they blew it up.

The Bucks were victims of poor timing and poor slotting in the 80s as they had to navigate through both Boston and Philly which at that time was virtually impossible.  It would be be the present day equivalent of a team like Houston having to beat both Golden State and San Antonio in their prime just to get to the Finals where a team like the Lakers would be lurking.  Can’t and won’t happen.

Barring some unforeseen issues this team is set up for playoff success the next 2-3 years.  Not all that different from the Brewers actually.    And you can’t win or legtimately compete for a title without at least a superstar player.  The Bucks have that.

Tschmack,

Have a problem with trading Ray Allen for an old Gary Payton for 2 months?  (unbelievable)

Yeah, Buck's 1980's path probably as brutal as any team ever had.

6'ers or Celtics -> 6'ers or Celtics -> Lakers

Nope, not gonna happen.

Too bad the Buck's team that swept the Celtics (oh, that was awesome!) next had to face the Malone 6'ers.  There are some who consider that team the best of all time.
