Not excited they almost lost to a really bad Minnesota team but hey they got the W.

Last year they probably lose that game.

As for the Wolves man what a mess.  Hearing rumors now they might try to trade KAT?   Heโ€™s not the problem.  The problem is you have almost 45MM tied up in Dieng and Wiggins for this season and next and Wiggins is on the hook through the 2022/23 season at 30MM+ per year.

You can build a team around Karl Anthony Towns.  Andrew Wiggins fills up the stat sheet but is not a winner and plays no defense.

That Wiggins/Parker/Embiid draft is shaping up to be historically terrible. Just a lot of guys in the Wiggins/Parker/Aaron Gordon mode who put up stats but aren't part of winning teams. The one potential HOF-level (Embiid) had to sit out two years before he could play. Jokic (2nd round) is the only other All-star.

The previous year's draft (the one Giannis went 15th) was also mostly terrible. That draft has yielded two all-stars (Giannis and Oladipo) and one other guy who should have been/will be an All-star (Gobert).

I was really high on Marcus Smart and heโ€™s been a decent player but not sure worth the 6th overall pick.

Zach LaVine has been pretty solid given where he was drafted

I like Smart in terms of his defensive intensity, but he's just a terrible shooter. A 6'3" guy who is a 31% 3 point shooter and isn't even that good inside the arc is not a guy you expect to depend on. He's even worse in the playoffs from 3.

The fact he signed for 4 years and 52 million is unbelievable. He's basically Wes Matthews without the ability to shoot.
