If the players have had COVID and been vaccinated, it should be monitoring for symptoms like you would for the flu. Holiday has had COVID and been vaccinated (his wife is brain tumor survivor, so they are very conscientious about this).

The problem is that the NBA has to worry about the unvaccinated idiots. They could still get very sick and the NBA would be liable for their problems if they got exposed to COVID during a game.

It’s not true lol.  Says those that end up in the ER and ICU.  Hint- it’s not the vaxxed group.

If people just made better lifestyle choices and didn’t get obese, or develop type 2 diabetes, or get heart disease or high blood pressure, and get vaxxed, and wear masks, we would have been through this 10x already.

Fat, dumb and lazy.  That’s America in the year 2022.  But at least you can preach about freedum and liberty.

Or just STFU.  Or own your decisions.  The solution is easy.  You choose to be unhealthy and don’t get vaxxed and get sick guess what?  You move to the back of the line and pay 100% for medical treatment due to your “choices”

Problem solved

DMAN RIGHT...........to much??  I wouldn’t even let them into a hospital, no vaccine???  No hospital, period.  🤬

From NYS Health Department;

Across the time period of analysis, fully-vaccinated New Yorkers had between an 90.2% and 95.7% lower chance of being hospitalized with COVID-19, compared to unvaccinated New Yorkers.

You’re a right piece of shit. Self righteous piece of shit. Hope you get what’s coming to you too…

Well that escalated quickly

90-95% eh?   Wonder what the numbers are for those without a comorbidity or pre existing health condition.  Probably like 99.95%.

Good thing vaccines don’t work

The guy who developed them says no… but what the fuck does he know?

No one would ever consider Goldie to be a piece of shit.

Ok….at this point (I’m not going to argue if things would have been different had more people gotten vaccinated when they were first made available) I feel that we are identifying the vaccine incorrectly.  It is not a cure or a perfect prevention. What it does do, is decrease the chances of catching the virus and, more importantly, lessens the effects of the virus should you catch it.

Even if the vaccine doesn’t fully work, it does help. I think of it the same way I do wearing masks. As long as it helps, to some degree, prevent others from developing the virus, there is no reason not do it. Personal convenience or political positioning are not more important than other people.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Technically, you’re right. I’m not a Dr., a virologist, etc.

But it’s not my opinion. It’s the opinion of the man that developed the MRNA vaccine. And a growing, increasingly more courageous list of physicians who are actually breaking through the tech and government censorship and getting the information out there.

I would. You wish harm on innocent people, you get the label. Fuck you, fuck her, and everyone like both of you. Hope I’m being crystal clear on that…

Not sure- but we know that the MRNA “vaccine” doesn’t.

The Vaccine Scientist Spreading Vaccine Misinformation Robert Malone claims to have invented mRNA technology. Why is he trying so hard to undermine its use?

Malone was just one of a multitude of scientist involved with mRNA in its early stages.  No one person "invented" mRNA vaccines/research.  Malone has an axe to grind and that's it.

You want to know why I know this?  Because of his completely idiotic take on mass formation psychosis.  He attempts to juxtapose the very thing that defines MAGA onto public health.  He offers no context, nothing.

Everything he speaks on is driven out of self recognition and all the supposed slights he's received over the years.

I'd love to hear about the bullshit lies of your friend's son and whatever else you were rambling about.

I'll let you pick the order of beat down on all the lies you've been spewing across two threads.

Also, my door has always been open.  It's been a standing invitation for years.

Goldie and Tschmack made a completely factual statement.  Those that continue to drag out a pandemic causing massive economic and societal damage should go die in a corner.

But that won't happen, whoever heard of someone dying from a cold?  You clowns should be good.

Do cold patients get priority over heart attacks, major injuries and surgeries?  That's just silly!

You read that entire article in 5 minutes?  Of course you didn't you silly little rabbit.

We all know the reality, you don't live in it.  So you wonder why I'd rather just piss pound you as a person because you don't deal in logic or reason.  You are a hyper MAGA stereotype.

No proof.

No knowledge.

Just spite.

I love how you human stains can pivot from mooslim terrorist right back to the red scare.  You are so weak in your mental fortitude you can't even venture to respond in a rational manner instead glomping onto the first pre-packaged horseshit to fill your mental void.

The person that is going to win a Nobel Prize for the concepts underlying the development of the mRNA vaccines is Katalin Kariko.

Michael Yeadon did not develop the mRNA vaccine. He used to work at Pfizer, but did not directly work on vaccines. He hasn't exactly been good a predicting what was going to happen with this. For example, I'm not aware of anyone that has become magnetic yet after being vaccinated.

He has opinions about COVID19 that have been amplified largely by Steve Bannon. There is actual data generated by hundreds of scientists working with thousands of clinicians (and their supporting nurses, etc.) that shows the vaccines are very effective. So, we can either go with the opinion of a guy who has been shown to be wrong many times previously, or we can go with the thousands of people involved in the trials.  Some people seem to think are all of these people involved in some conspiracy to kill off as many people as possible while working overtime in ICUs treating the same people they are supposedly trying to kill off.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Yeadon

Yeadon falsely claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom was "effectively over" in October 2020,[17][18] that there would be no "second wave" of infections,[6][19] and that healthy people could not spread the SARS-CoV-2 virus.[1][20] He has claimed without evidence that COVID-19 vaccines were unnecessary,[21][20][19] unsafe,[1][22] and could cause infertility in women.[1][6][23] In a letter to the European Medicines Agency, Yeadon and the German physician Wolfgang Wodarg called for all vaccine trials to be stopped, falsely suggesting[24][25][26] that mRNA vaccines could target the syncytin-1 protein needed for placenta formation.[27][a] In an interview with political strategist Steve Bannon, Yeadon falsely asserted that children were "50 times more likely to be killed by the COVID vaccines than the virus itself", citing a high number of events following COVID-19 vaccination reported on the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database.[31][32][3] The US Centers for Disease Control, which operates the database, cautions that such reports are not verified and do not prove that vaccines caused any given adverse event.[31][32] Yeadon has also discouraged COVID-19 lockdowns and the use of face masks despite evidence for their effectiveness.[22] He has alleged that the vaccines cause recipients to become magnetic.[14] Several of Yeadon's claims have been amplified on social media.[1][6][33][31][17][28]

The person that is going to win a Nobel Prize for the concepts underlying the development of the mRNA vaccines is Katalin Kariko.

If you actually read The Atlantic article, Katalin Kariko shared a email that Malone sent her with his obvious self conflating agenda.  Even Katalin Kariko states she is not the sole person responsible for mRNA but the scientific community as a whole.  Malone is more upset by her press coverage, which she didn't ask for.

Funny side note.  Malone's contribution to mRNA included using lipids to deliver the mRNA, not microchips.

All I know is my hospital wife nurse lost two pregnant moms to this evil virus lately. One has a two year old at home that now has no mama. She finally treated her first vaccinated patient but she only required supplemental oxygen, no ventilator, and is out of the hospital.

Here, let me paste some of The Atlantic article in bite sized parcels for the traitor.

One target of Malone’s ire, the biochemist Katalin Karikó, has been featured in multiple news stories as an mRNA-vaccine pioneer. CNN called her work “the basis of the Covid-19 vaccine” while a New York Times headline said she had “helped shield the world from the coronavirus.” None of those stories mentioned Malone. “I’ve been written out of the history,” he has said. “It’s all about Kati.” Karikó shared with me an email that Malone sent her in June, accusing her of feeding reporters bogus information and inflating her own accomplishments. “This is not going to end well,” Malone’s message says.

Karikó replied that she hadn’t told anyone that she is the inventor of mRNA vaccines and that “many many scientists” contributed to their success. “I have never claimed more than discovering a way to make RNA less inflammatory,” she wrote to him. She told me that Malone referred to himself in an email as her “mentor” and “coach,” though she says they’ve met in person only once, in 1997, when he invited her to give a talk. It’s Malone, according to Karikó, who has been overstating his accomplishments. There are “hundreds of scientists who contributed more to mRNA vaccines than he did.”

The person that is going to win a Nobel Prize for the concepts underlying the development of the mRNA vaccines is Katalin Kariko.

I just want to be the first to say that it’s awesome O.J’s house guest has finally settled on a career.

I did read The Atlantic article.

I run a class for graduate students every year where the assignment is to predict who will win the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine (they present their predictions two weeks before the announcement). Half the class predicted her, but we do discuss the other contributions of dozens of other scientists (almost every advance in life is based on "standing on the shoulders of giants" as stated by Newton).

The CSO of Moderna (Melissa Moore) who helped develop the COVID19 vaccine worked in a lab across the hall from me when I was a graduate student. Her advisor (Phil Sharp) won the Nobel Prize for figuring out RNA splicing (and followed up by understanding the underlying chemistry in detail). Her two decades of working on the chemistry of RNA helped Moderna optimize the stability of the mRNA within the vaccine.

This just all shows that Kariko's comment that the scientific community as a whole helped develop the mRNA viruses is very appropriate.
