It sure looked like to me they had a lot of time off.  Missing shots left and right especially from long range.

Lopez just can’t seem to find his stroke and hopefully that will come around.  Giannis with the FTs JFC.

But hey, a win is a win so keep racking up the Ws.

You have to think Lopez's shooting will revert to the mean.

He's hit 35.4% of his 3s the previous 3 seasons (35 or 36% in all 3 seasons) on very high volume (433 for 1224).

Right now, he's at 28% (17 for 61). The difference between the 3 previous years and this one is 4 shots out of 61. That's a pretty small sample size.

The Giannis FTs are a bigger issue. He's going to have the ball at the end of games and needs to hit these consistently to put teams away. It's been a downward trend for the last 2 years and the beginning of this season on extremely high volume (76% to 73% to 63%). He also shot 63% in last year's playoffs. It would be nice if he hit 90%, but he really just needs to be around 75%.

I got so spoiled from last year that it's kind of hard to watch this year's team.  They can still win a lot of games because they have the most physically gifted player in the league, but they are so sloppy on both ends that it's kind of tough to watch.

I was hoping that the combo of Matthews/DiVincenzo/Brown/Korver would be an adequate replacement for Brogdon, but honestly, I don't think they've measured up.  Who knows, maybe as the season wears on someone will step up, but unfortunately I think this team is a half notch below last year's team overall.  It's not all due to the loss of Brogdon, but I really do think they miss his smarts and steadiness game to game.

I agree.  Matthews has been a poor 3 point shooter and I am sure the Bucks thought he would at least match his career percentage as he should be getting cleaner looks with the Bucks.  You have to think he will come around.  Brogdon is flourishing at point in Indiana.  I think this team misses his steadiness and clutch shooting.  He was also so good at taking the ball to the rim.  At 6'5". 230 lbs. he is just too strong.  Hopefully one or two of these guys will step up their game as the year progresses.
