Wins are good, but this did not look like a top 10 team

Horni's INT was horrible.  In addition, his receivers dropped a pile of catch-able balls.

Grosheck should be the #2 RB.  Shaw reminds me of the Packers version of Darrell Thompson.

Defense is really, really good, just not as good as in the past couple years.  Need the offense to have a greater impact, that means they have to complete some passes.

Nice field goal by Gags.  After making it he should be allowed, after all those time outs, to go fart on Lovie's face.

Tomorrows rankings:

1. Alabama

2.Georgia

3. Ohio State

4. Wisconsin, or TCU or Notre Dame, or Penn State, or Miami?

Penn State....they led the whole game to a very good team on foreign soil.  That should count for something.    If the Badgers were more impressive the last few games they would have a case.  We shall see.

Badgers should be like 7-10 instead of 5th

More like mid-teens. Last week's coaches poll has 25 ranked teams and 16 others that received votes. The Badgers will not play a single one of these 41 teams until the Big 10 championship game. If Taylor is out for an extended period, there offense is really going to bog down.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bucky....but...they are not a top 4 team.  I agree they should be in the 7-10 range.  However, when they get everyone healthy...AND Horni makes better decisions and plays better....then, yes....they could win out and would be in the top 4 after they win the B1G Championship.  But the only way I see them in the playoffs, is IF they win the B1G.

I actually don't think Penn State melting down helps the Badgers or the Big Ten.

While it was a really entertaining game Ohio State already had 1 loss and they don't have the same dominant defense we have seen in years past.

With Michigan looking pretty ordinary UW needed or needs Penn State to look great and stay undefeated given how they may end up playing those guys down the road in the conference championship game.

Realistically, I think it's possible for an undefeated Badgers team to be left out of the playoffs even over some of the 1 loss teams around them.

Hey goofball, my reply was to  TSCHMACK  who said an undefeated Badger team would be left out in favor of a 1 loss team.   And look now, the Badgers are #4.   Barely ahead of Notre Dame in the AP but also nearly #3  in the Coaches Poll.  Win out and we are in.

Also don't penalize the Badgers for who is on their schedule.  Except for a couple of early non-con games they have no control over who the opponents are.

There is no reason they shouldn't be undefeated and make it to the BT championship game.  However, if they play like they did yesterday the games against Michigan and Iowa are a toss up.   They are a better team than they are showing but they have to play cleaner (turnovers and penalties) and a lot of that starts with Hornibrook.
