WI is about the least athletic D1 college basketball team around. They cannot drive. They have trouble shooting. They can't jump and they are not very quick.

The can win by playing team concepts and shooting well. The problem is when they face a team with length that can also defend. Then as we saw last night, they go stone cold and get toasted.

They really need to recruit some long, fast players. That one guy who really kills me is Aleem Ford. 6'8" and can get his feet off the floor.  6'2" G takes it to him and dunks over the top. WTF?

Badgers need horses. Supposedly the new class coming in has some better athletes. I won't hold my breath.

They have guys that would 6th and 7th men on good teams.  These guys are solid, scrappy players and when at home and their shots are falling look OK.  Trouble is when the shots clang off the rim they have nothing else.  King can get to the hoop and cause a bit of trouble but not enough.  Pritzl? Ford? Ruevers? Trice? If not nothingburgers they are at best limited. Wahl has potential and 34 defines overachiever, who while a hustler is not consistent. All the D and hustle really don't matter when you can only get to 50.

As far as the 'promising' class, I choose to wait and see. Many promises have not come true.
