Interesting that Allen got some work in his game.

From a pure talent standpoint it’s going to be hard to keep him off the field.  Plus, he gives them a different dimension (power back) compared to the other three guys.

Not sure what to think of Berger at this point.  It sure appears that Mellusi isn’t going anywhere and Guerendo has breakaway speed.

What's embarrassing about the running game?

That the passing game is in such sad shape that they have to just lean on a clearly overmatched team. The offense does not look Big Ten caliber. Not even close.

I was surprised when he put Wolf in relatively early.  IMO that was the time to work on the passing game with the starters.  Until I see more of Mertz and whether he can be a game changer right now I have to think he is just another in a long line of game managers.

We will find out a lot in the next two games. They get a week off and then face Notre Dame and Michigan back to back. Neither team is at the level of the top SEC teams, Ohio State, Clemson, or Oregon, but they are teams that have some NFL talent.

How the hell  do the officials miss the guy stepping on the RB after the touchdown

Cheeze has great feet, the lack of elite speed means, he's got potential to be really good.  Guerendo has elite speed, lacks the great footwork.  Berger needs more reps, but he does look like #2 on the depth chart.
