Boy, the Oline is getting abused today.
On the INT, I watched it a few times, the receiver just shuts it off at the end of the route. I think he heard footsteps that were not there. Watch it again, he just stops the route. Not sure if it would have been a good pass, but I think that one isn't all on Tanner.
That being said, Tanner is a better safety than QB.

Offense getting some rhythm in the second half. Gordon with the catch (not sure why he isn't used more like that)
Much better second half, but still not much running room for Gordon. Need to clean that up for the Big Ten stretch.
Much better 2nd half. There is a bit of hope after all. I was glad to see both Arneson and Ericson emerge catching the ball. It is a concern that we can't get any space for Gordon, but Clements looked good. Heck even Houston looked all right for the couple few plays he got to run.
Only half the game was worth watching, but I'll take the win!
One positive is McEvoy looked a whole lot better in the second half. If he keeps improving, that will open up a lot more space for Gordon to run.

The defense played very well despite being down Herring and Zags and Figaro is still figuring it out at safety
