Hey guys, long time reader. I have a question for some of the Green Bay locals (mods please move this too the correct forum if need-be) My friends and I are going to be road-tripping to Green Bay from the Kansas City area for the Packers family night scrimmage. We are only going to be in Green Bay for 1 day and don't have to be to the stadium until 5:30, so basically we want to max out our experience and were just wondering what four 23 year old dudes could do that day that would be worth our while? Thanks Guys!

Do you have any kids to pawn off?

Henry is in charge of game-day childcare.

Welcome.

I'd suggest going to the bar all day near the stadium, having some burgers at Kroll's and not bothering to 'see Green Bay' too much. Downtown is a coal pile, the river gives you the C and other than that there's not much other than a couple of crappy malls and fat people.

If you're into pizza, though, GB is also the best place in the country to be. Sammy's, Luigi's, Frank & Pat's...

I remember when I was a kid and went to Bay Beach with my parents. They put me on that little train that tours Superfund Bay and I asked what that island of rocks was for in that bright green water. They told me that was called Garbage Island because they dumped industrial waste there and covered it with rocks. Awesome.

Yep. Bay Beach is a can't-miss. I do think they serve deep-fried lard with a sugar topper there, though. So there's that.
