Quinten Cephus will take a leave from the team to try and clear his name from what he says are unwarranted charges. No time table has been set for a possible return. This will really hurt their chances at a NCAA Championship.

Just when things were looking rosey
Sounds like sexual assault charges to me.
Wow, that bites. I hope he is innocent and can prove it quickly.
If he could do that why would he need to leave the team?
Truth or another Gold-Digging whore?
Also saw on another board that another prominent Badgers WR could potentially be lumped in with this as well as he was partying with Cephus and the girls that night.

Mother Theresa or Stormy Daniels?

This doesn't sound like one of those cases to me from what I've heard on the radio. 2 women were involved and 1 woman went to the ER the night of the incident.
Edit: This case doesn't quite fit the gold digging profile to me.
Does not appear to be a he said she said, looks like a she said, she said he said.

Because he was accused of sexual assault. The process must play out- assuming guilt or innocence by the activity is reckless.
Seems awfully difficult to imagine one guy cornering two women for non-consensual sex. I have only seen the articles though... more details have to be released but it certainly seems there is more to it than two chicks and a dude.
From local news tonight, apparently alcohol was involved.
Reading the Buckyville board, sounds like QC was sober and the women were very very drunk, blackout type drunk and feel they were taken advantage of while blacked out. Another Badgers WR was at the apartment too, but no charges against him..... so far.
There always is QO.
Man, this whole topic is so tough.
I'm the father of a daughter, and I'm also former college athlete who went to plenty of parties...
Alcohol, youth and libidos are a pretty dangerous mix.
They could be lying....or he could be a creep---unless there were witnesses, how do you prove (or disprove) the accusations?

Or both.

Assuming the victim(s) went to the ER, there should be a rape kit. And it's not up to the defense to disprove the accusations. Guilty until proven innocent is a terrible precedent to set.
