Chris Paul has entered into the NBA's COVID19 protocol and is out indefinitely.

If he entered it because he didn't want to get vaccinated, he deserves all the criticism he's going to get.  He called it a "personal" choice. Well, his idiotic "personal" choice may have cost the Suns a title. If that's the case, he's a moron.

If he's in it because he was exposed despite being vaccinated, the NBA needs to take a longer look at this. LeBron can violate the protocols with no issue?

Given that Paul is the President of the NBPA it’s not a good look at all.   If indeed he hasn’t been vaccinated and let’s say has a home exposure and ends up getting sick he could be out 2-3 weeks easy.

I do have a question as to why he is out indefinitely?  This broke a couple of days ago so shouldn't he be back in about 5 days since I think you only have to quarantine 7 days now?  I don't know what the NBA rules are on quarantine though so feel free to correct me.

It depends on the situation and if he’s vaccinated or not.  If he’s not, and he’s been exposed to a positive case (like say his kid or spouse) then realistically he’s out at least 7 days at a minimum but if he then gets symptoms I think it’s 10 additional days from that point forward.
