This thread is about the WORKOUT 💪. DO NOT make it about politics, social injustice warriors or ANY OTHER SUBJECT!

ALL posts about anything OTHER than the workout will be deleted.

I hope I've been crystal clear.

Workout starts at 2 PM LFT. I'm thinking Gutey might be there since the Pack is on a bye

Call me kooky....

I was actually thinking about the Packers using Kaepernick the same way the Saints use Taysom Hill

If he is in football shape and if he wants to play in any capacity I'd give it a whirl.

Cant have too many weapons.

It’s a good thought, but unless he’s going to be an elite player right off the bat with the ball in his hands you’re taking the ball out of the hands of Rodgers, Jones, and Adams. Hill does a lot more than trick plays, so unless CK can return kicks, block, AND run the wildcat I don’t think we will get the same use out of him. If he can return kicks successfully than maybe you get some Josh Cribbs-esque use out of him, otherwise he’s a waste of a roster spot in GB.

There’s a place for him in the NFL on a roster. At the rate Pittsburgh is going through QBs they might need him. Seeing him with Bruce Arians might be fun. They’re going to need a QB.

I don't think anyone will bring him in and use him like Taysom Hill.

He's probably best suited for a role where a really good team's backup is not ready to step in. Let's say Rodgers got dinged up enough to where he can't play for 2-3 games, but is going to ready to come back for the playoffs. Does Kaepernik give you a better chance to win a game in that scenario than Tim Boyle? If he shows that he hasn't declined physically in the workout I think the answer is probably yes. If you are a team like NO and have Bridgewater as a backup you aren't going to be interested.

Of course, Brett Hundley sucked in 9 starts (and most of the game where Rodgers got hurt in 2017) and in those games the Packers went 3-7. There is no question in my mind that Kaepernik would have given them a better chance to win that year and get them into the playoffs until Rodgers could return.

If this was all for show I doubt 25 teams would have showed up.

I didn't realize he was 32 now. Those athletic skills are soon going to be on the decline.

Colin Cowherd probably would have been an upgrade over Hundley in 2017.

Workout over -- LOL

I guess SOME scouts (Why were the Chiefs there?? Uh-huh...More than just QB) were there but this "workout" was NOT NFL "sponsored"??

Good lord.....guess they can't just give the guy a shot without everyone trying to get the "upper hand"

Not understanding all the commotion about this.  He was a below par QB his last couple of years in league and was replaced as the starter.  I still remember Clay Matthews sacking him and taunting "you ain't Russell Wilson bro."  Add the fact he's been out of the league a couple of years, and probably lost some spring in his legs, I can't see him being effective.
