Night time football!
Go get 'em kids!

Groshek getting the 1st on 4th and 1!
Go Bucky!
Tubby Brazilian Good!
Would have preferred 7 tho...
That little Jack Dunn kid has some Wes Welker in him....said every guy about little white guys...
If Hornibrook doesn't have to move, he's a decent college QB. As soon as he has to move his feet, he becomes a below average QB.

lol what did I miss as my stream was down?
Horni being bad horni..,
A nice little punt return with quicks.

Tubby Brazilian good again!
Offense disappointing so far. Why can't we spring Taylor?

I used to use them alot until I started going away from flash since it is going away soon. Sites that have built in players have some advantages too.
Not a lot of deception in the play calling. But the constant pounding is gonna pay dividends in the second half.
Agreed TOOO
Can't allow a conversion on third and sixteen.

Because we don't have a QB that can consistently make other teams pay for loading up on the run.
Whew.
O better start getting some points.
Why do you only rush 3 on 3rd and 16?
Oh so CLOSE!
DD! great snatch!
Hornibrook gets massive amounts of time and has clean pockets, but often the receivers have to make tough catches even when they are wide open.

Yup. We all are familiar with Horni's mediocrity.

I know I'm being Captain Obvious, but you would think that would improve with reps. I understand if he doesn't have the athleticism to throw on the move, he may not have the ability to ever do that. But you'd think his mechanics on the easy throws would get better.
But he has managed to leverage that mediocrity into a high level of success.
That's a TD.
That's a TD!
antooo posted:But he has managed to leverage that mediocrity into a high level of success.
He is great at play action in terms of his ball handling, which is a key feature of any Wisconsin offense.
After further review....
TD JT!!!! F'EM BUCKY!

Good points and I agree with you both. And when he does get hot, he can be very good.
I love good Horni!
Good play design by Nebraska on that.
Huge penalty there on N
Nebraska has guys open. Their QB just can't execute the throws. Wisconsin will have to clean that up - OSU/Penn State/Michigan will not miss those throws.
Our secondary is pretty depleted right now, lots of youth back there
Should have caught it, but thrown behind him
GROSHEK!!!!
LOVE him!!!
If I'm Scott Frost, I pull 25's scholarship at half-time.
TD FERGIE!!! HELLS YEAH!!

Floyd of Rosedale is so much cooler than the Heartland tropy.
and sorry watching my homeland country as well....Notre Dame .....Go Irish, and Go Badgers Go. âïļ
Yup, loathe ND.
Goldie posted:Cavetoad posted:I cannot like that post @Goldie I can never root for ND. Sorry!
REALLY??? Who doesn't love The Irish?? Cavetoad?? Really??!
The English?
No pressure, but that's scheme. Isolating a fast WR on the safety.
Just need a long TD drive to reestablish dominance.
Mechanics were terrible there.
Announcers say "uncharacteristic accuracy?" Have they watched tape?
Good Horni is accurate
Good Horni (actually great Horni) showed up on that escape.
MichiganPacker2 posted:Just need a long TD drive to reestablish dominance.
Yes, yes, yes,......love Taylor..
Touchdown JT!!!!!!!
F'EM BUCKY!!!!!

These two seem pretty clueless.
Cavetoad posted:Yup, loathe ND.
Talk to me....why the hatred for the Irish?? What...ya English??
Love the Irish....ND not so much. It is a beautiful campus tho.
Goldie posted:Cavetoad posted:Yup, loathe ND.

Nope. I'm American.
Goldie posted:Cavetoad posted:I cannot like that post @Goldie I can never root for ND. Sorry!

Ummmmm.
That's precisely why 87% of people hate The Irish.....they can't understand how everybody hates them.
LOL
The crowd is chanting "LETS GO BREWERS"
What's the deal? THIS IS THE DEAL! NICE STIFFIE!
TD BUCKY!!
The real Deal....and Nebraska is turrible. Frosty may wish he stayed in Florida, he could be FSU coach next year.
Time to step on their dauber while it's down.
antooo posted:Time to step on their dauber while it's down.
Yes. CRUSH!!!
Need to find a pash rush.
Nice drive.
Helluva catch really.
Lack of pass rush is going to be the Badger's Achilles heel when they face stiffer competition.
Great catch, but the Leonhard needs to try to manufacture some additional pressure. Way too much time for Martinez in the second half.
Notre Dame is actually a Cathedral in Paris. So why they are called the Irish is beyond baffling. Maybe it has to do with Sleepy Jim Crowley, who was Irish coaching the football team at one time.
Good thing the offense is now dominating. I think Nebraska will score every possession in this half if they don't stop themselves.
Fergie!
PI IMO
RTFB.
No Badger series in a second half should ever end in 3 consecutive passes after a first down.
Agreed, that was silly.
Especially those three passes.
Pretty mediocre defensive effort against a terrible Nebraska team. Badgers should be curb stomping these guys.
The Gophers might beat Nebraska this year and that tells you a lot.
As for Notre Dame, much like The U, thereâs a lot to hate unless you went there or have some other connection to the school.
The defense likely only needs one more stop, but Nebraska has figured out this defense big time.
Nelson gone for the first half of the Michigan game now.
Rough night for Nelson (and the Badger pass defense in general).
Losing Nelson is damn rough. But he's no older than whoever will replace him.
CTFB!
OMG 14 you could have been the hero!
Not 4 down territory anymore
Good defensive call there.
TJ EEEEEDDDWWWARRRDS!!!!
I'd like to see more of TJ in the backfield.
I think Nelson will be pretty good but heâs having a very forgettable game tonight. It was the right call.
michiganjoe posted:Good defensive call there.
Agreed! The ends did a nice job of giving him nowhere to spin to and the middle pressure got there quick and firm.
antooo posted:I'd like to see more of TJ in the backfield.
Definitely.
Tschmack posted:I think Nelson will be pretty good but heâs having a very forgettable game tonight. It was the right call.
Yup.
JT!!!!!!
JONAHTAN FREAKING TAYLOR FOR 88!!!!!
TD BUCKY!!!
Pretty amazing run by Taylor
The more things change the more they stay the same. Badgers run the ball all over the Huskers.
Scott Frost has his work cut out for him.
Paying off the investment from the first half.
I live watching this kid run.
antooo posted:Paying off the investment from the first half.

The way he works to tear through tackles is such a joy.
Damnit, too many missed tackles.
10 is pretty good
The Badgers need about 3 solid days of tackling drills...
Sure has been suspect tonight.
Let me rephrase that....sure has been ****ty tonight
With all due credit, that Washington kid does look like he's special.
Pretty weak effort by DD
Good grief...
Are we playing Ohio State?
This is bad defense
Nebraska with 3 TD drives in the second half more than 75 yards
Jim Leonhard has a lot of work to do before securing his next gig
Some really good plays from Nebraska's offense on that series, but the Badger's D was awful.
Tschmack posted:Are we playing Ohio State?

Actually in a bit more than a quarter
Looks like the fans are heading to the bars
Yup. In a little over a quarter Pikes. Was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt!!!
Horrible defense
Thankfully Taylor and the offense got them a healthy lead
Wow that was a weak penalty.
How many near intercepts can Bucky have????
Wrap the **** up!
And CTFB.
ammo posted:How many near intercepts can Bucky have????
Tonight, what 4, 5?
Deal almost gets his 60 yarder!
Nice playcall Badgers
RTFB
should be interesting next week
OK
WTF.
Why in the world pass there?
Nebraska is going to be one angry team when the play Bethune Cookman.
The Badgers defense was dominate yardage wise by a mediocre Nebraska team and that was before they lost what seemed like their whole starting secondary to injury. If Jim Harbaugh has any brains at all (and I think he is one of the most overrated coaches I've ever seen at the college level), Michigan will throw every down.
Hornibrook inconsistent, lack of a pass rush and secondary suffers from a combination of injury and poor play. Not a particularly satisfying win.
michiganjoe posted:Hornibrook inconsistent, lack of a pass rush and secondary suffers from a combination of injury and poor play. Not a particularly satisfying win.
Agreed. But a win nonetheless.
41-24, good win over a determined team. Lots of coaching opportunities this week.
Jimmy L, really needs to scheme a blitz or two, because the lack of pass rush is concerning
Any bets on whether the Badgers drop in the polls after this win? I'm thinking they drop to somewhere around 18 from 16, where they were at, prior to playing Nebraska. They dropped from 5th to 6th after their first win. After losing to BYU they dropped from 6th to 16th. We'll see where they stand on Monday.
Not with so many teams losing to unranked opponents..
12th or 13th.
15th in AP, 10th in Coaches. AVE. 12.5
