Almost can't believe it after hearing the Perry news... another one of these seasons where injuries just rip through this team.

It's all the more reason why I point back to 2014 and why it was absolutely huge that the team blew an opportunity.  That 2014 squad was much healthier than many of the Packers' teams of the past 10 years, very few guys were hurt.  I suppose the biggest injury of 2014 was Rodgers' calf that limited his mobility, but other than that, the team was very healthy and flat out blew it.  We might never see a Packers' team that healthy overall again.

Why are we surprised about Perry?   He's been decent when healthy but like CMIII he's had a difficult time staying healthy.  Having Brooks will help lessen the blow but it also ensures Fackrell will see a lot of reps and not sure that's a good thing.

I don't follow other teams in the league at all... but holy crap, is there another team that experiences the level of injuries GB does?  If so, shouldn't the active rosters be raised from 53 to 60, or in GB's case, 53 to 97?  Every year it's the same damn thing...

And Brooks has already missed 50% of his games as a GBP...

it ensures nothing regarding Fackrell..

i wish that things were different, but I am almost starting to be one of the glass half empty guys on this MB.

at least regarding injuries and all things Janis!

The best I can remember, it's about a 3-4 week process. If memory is serving, I think the size of the wrapping can be reduced each week.
Not that it allows him to use his hand, but at least it's not so cumbersome.

Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for a total of 8 games (5 last year, 3 this year) for repeated dirty hits. I'm not sure what history Trevathan has with dirty hits, but if it's a first or second offense I think he will just be fined. If he has a history of being fined then I definitely think a suspension is on the table (probably 3 or 4 games). Probably a $50K fine and his last strike.

Was in the lounge after a case and Cowherd's show was on the TV.  Eric Dickerson and himself both thought there was nothing wrong with "the hit" and went back to last week with Shermans hit on Mariotta as clean as well.  They happened to show that replay and used the guise that the hit happened 0.2 seconds after Mariotta stepped out of bounds.  So the QB (or any player for that matter) is clearly heading out of bound and indeed is out of bounds when hit and its perfectly fine.  Man this player safety stuff hasn't hit home yet for some of these older guys.

They also said Chicago has all around better talent than Green Bay, as we have "too many blue collar work hard 'scrappy' types".

Not sure what that last sentence means...

You could tell that they both kind of had that lightbulb go off and tried to redefine it as athletes, Green Bay doesn't have athletes on our football team.  Crazy thing was they were using Monty as the example and I quote "he's a receiver playing running back"

If this is all we have, then how come MM hasn't gotten more consideration for Coach of the Year?

I remember when Tracy Morgan played Eric Dickerson reporting from the sideline on SNL and talked for a full minute and said three actual words and they went back to the booth with Fallon, Hammonds, and Farrell playing Dennis Miller, Al Michael's, and Dan Fouts and they looked exactly like Miller, Michaels, and Fouts in real life after going to real life Dickerson on the sideline.

And Cowherd. Let's just not even start that.

About the Adams hit:

After the game, referee John Hussey, the official on the play, said he didn’t see enough of the hit to make the call for an ejection.

Wonder If this is the same moron who saw the hand of God come down and touch the punt.

Not enough guys like Zeke Elliott and Dez Bryant to make Kardashian-like story lines for people to follow. GB doesn't have enough drama guys.

Other than RB, where does Chicago have better talent (when everyone is healthy) than Green Bay? Let's not even consider the QB. WR- Green Bay by a mile, TE-Green Bay, OL- Green Bay when healthy, DL-when Daniels is healthy Green Bay, LB-CM3 and Perry are much better than anyone they have, DB-Green Bay

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but Chicago has a good RB corps and virtually no other blue chip talent. Green Bay has 8 guys (Rodgers, Bak, Nelson, Daniels, CM3, Perry, Dix, Burnett) that I would consider Pro Bowl level talent.

Malcolm Floyd is getting there.  Akeim Hicks has his moments.

But I would also include Clark in your GB list.  Maybe he hasn't done it long enough to be fully there yet but he's shown it in every game so far this season after showing flashes late last season.

Jones and Clark would be the next two on the list.

They do need a RB to emerge. Monty has looked like what he probably is - a good third down back who can run a little and catch passes out of the backfield. He's a bigger, but not better, version of Cobb in the backfield. He's not as dynamic, but he's potential a little more durable (yes, I know he missed most of 2015 and broke his ribs last night).
