I'll be really impressed if Jolly finds a way to make the team.  Interesting personality mix between Jolly and Datone.  Similar backgrounds with regards to growing up in bad neighborhoods but with the younger man finding a way not to become a part of it.

No idea what happened between OTA's when he was lining up at OLB and today. MM can't be happy given he talked at length about availability today.

I doubt he failed because he is out of shape. The guy had a reputation as a hard worker and a gym rat coming out of college. Hopefully, it's just some small injury and they're playing it safe for now.

If Johnathan Franklin proves he can pass protect, he could really deliver something special catching ball out of backfield. Very sudden

Johnathan Franklin showing natural catch and run ability on a screen. Nice explosion.

Giddy about the thought of having a true playmaker as a 3rd down back. Sounds like Lacy is holding his own in pass catching drills as well.

Now we're into individual. The action won't heat up until they go back to team. Now would be a good time for you guys to go back to work.

And his mom was worried... RT @TomSilverstein: Eddie Lacy looks pretty trim. There's not much of a gut there. Seems like his weight is OK.

@RobDemovsky

Solid start for Tim Masthay. In 15 punts, all but four had hang times of 4.0 or better. Best was a 4.53 61-yarder along the left sideline.

I think I've seen this comment more than once today RT @TomSilverstein: Micah Hyde with a nice pass breakup.

MM Press Conference:

Mike Neal: Abdomen injury "He will be fine. Not concerned about it."

House: Illness (not an issue)

Hayward: Hamstring (couple weeks). Harris has a "knee". About 1-2 weeks for both.

MM: Idea of playing music "2 min" (calling it a Regen Period)  is to replicate a TV timeout. Trying to simulate games.

MM: OTA's significantly better then last year. Carried over to today. Happy with how 1st practice went.

MM: Plus of having 2 kickers is that one will not be overworked.

MM: RB's did some good things but need a lot of work/reps yet. Lacy and Jonathan did some good things.

MM: Hyde jumped out today. Thought he got off to a good start.

MM: AR has had one of his best off seasons. Off to a great start coming off a great off season.
