Nice homer by Braun and as usual when Sogard plays the Brewers win. 
Hernan helped nail a guy at 3rd by rifling a throw from RF corner to Eric who finished the job at 3rd! I like these guys on the field and sensing going forward you will need to be an above the grade fielder to have a job in Milwaukee.

I was ready to watch Phillips a lot more until he broke my heart in the ninth. Broxton got another life because Phillips is a stud in the field. Anderson pitching his way out of the sixth was big time.

Brett Phillips' throw home in the scoreless 6th was 104.7 mph, the hardest throw recorded by @Statcast this season. He owns the top 3 now.

Going into the season, I thought that pitching was going to be the issue. And at times it has been- but they're buckling down when the need it most. Get the sweep, and then 4 games against the a-holes...

Pretty amazing the development of Davies and Anderson and Nelson this year. The coaching has been a big reason for their improvement. It also helps to have some decent talent with Hader and Swarzak and Knebel so glad we have Stearns running the show as it can only continue to improve.
Hate to see the Cubs continue winning but 1 game out of the WC is pretty damn exciting. What a story it would be if they actually made the playoffs. As it is the 2017 Brewers have been a lot of fun to follow so hope to keep it going!
