So, we get a one game playoff against a Future HOF starter. And our starter will be probably be Jordan Lyles, a guy who has an ERA of 5.11 in over 900 innings at the major league level.

And, we'll be missing Yelich, Braun, and Cain. Moustakas will be limited.

Last year, they started the following guys in Game 7 of the NLCS.

Cain, Yelich, Braun, Shaw, Aguilar, Moustakas, Kratz, Arcia, Chacin.

It's possible only Arcia and a banged up Moustakas will start on Tuesday.

The fact they made the playoffs is outstanding. Anything else is gravy.

Brewers have some tough decisions to make on the playoff roster, especially when it comes to bullpen.   They all sucked this weekend.

I don't think anyone that pitched today will be on the roster for Tuesday.  Plus Albers from last night.

I'd roll with Guera, Peralta, Pomeranz, Hader, Suter, Woodruff (either in relief or opener), Lyles, Gio, maybe Claudio (I personally don't trust him), Davies and Chase.  I'm sure I'm missing some without looking it up.  Throw all of them if needed - just find a way to get a win and worry about NLDS on Thursday.

The fact that they made it this far is amazing and was entirely unexpected.  If they do lose to the Nats I'm not going to call the season a disappointment.

Braun said he would have been ready to play Monday if needed. Now he gets an extra day so he should be ready.   I have also heard nothing about Cain not being able to play Tuesday. Got link that says he is out?

Just that he didn't play today.
