Bad fucking luck… Peterson laces a rocket to the RF gap, and instead of scoring Tellez it’s a ground rule double. Brewer get nothing else across as Bradley rolls out to second to end the rally.

3-1 with the Airbender coming on…

That game certainly had a playoff type feel to it.

The Brewers have a championship level pitching staff and play pretty good defense.  The question mark is going to be offense.  If the pitchers keep them close anything can happen.

Go 15-15 from here on out and...

Cincy would need to go 24-5 to tie

STL would need to go 28-4 to tie

Keep winning series

*Also, Pittsburgh has been officially eliminated and cannot catch Milwaukee

He’s been great, but it would be really nice to see Burnes get through 7 consistently. He was spectacular through 6, but it’s like smack and he’s getting hammered to start the 7th. Playoffs are nip/tuck, and it’s such an advantage to get to the 8th/9th without using too much pen.

Jace Peterson on base 4 times, 3 hits… dude is an excellent player. Yelich still coming around… would be nice to see sone power numbers, but I’ll take him on base all day. He’s a problem on the base paths.

Both sides had a lot of barreled outs last night. We’ll see how tonight goes. Brewers are the best road team in baseball. Giants are the best home  team in baseball. Should be fun!

A little different game ending situation when Hader is in.  Remember he was out with Covid when the Giants came to Milwaukee.

Hopefully come playoffs Cain is the everyday CF no matter the pitching matchup.

Off to another great start. 2 runs in the 1st, base hits by Adames, Yelich, Navarez and a ground out get 2.   Cain homers to lead off the 2nd and then Woody follows qith a base hit.   Hitting Cueto pretty good.

Yelich just scored from first on a pop fly that fell in left field… that’s fucking unbelievable…

Pete "Charlie Hustle" Rose is smiling & proud right now

Brewers win first 2. I'm going to game #3 tomorrow.

Blame me if they lose. I'm ready to take my punishment.

By the 3rd inning, Cueto couldn't find the plate. Love that the Brewers knocked him out in the 4th. Quintana has always given the Brewers' batters fits.  Woodruff was spot on with his fastball. I believe the Brewers are up by 10 games in the division, on September 1st.  Some breathing room down the home stretch. GO CREW!!! SWEEP THE GIANTS!!!

When you pitch like the Brewers pitch from starters to relievers to closers they should win a lot of games.  I think Counsell deserves a lot of credit too in terms of pulling the right strings.

Barring C19 or injuries this team is going to be a tough out come playoff time.  Counsell has so many options to mix and match lineups and pitching moves to keep teams off balance that I’m excited to see what they do.
