Vogelbach… is… slow….
I mean, with two outs and nobody else on you have to send him, but as they said, he's 512 out of 536 players in sprint speed to first this year.
That overturn on the Bryant SB was probably the right call, but I don't think there was a clear view that was obvious as to whatever the correct call was.
And the overturn comes back to bite them. Now behind 2-1
Yea, but if you told me the crew would take 3 out 4 from San Fran, I would have said no way.
Some bullshit gives the Giants a run… and then they get the kill shot. 🤬🤬🤬
It ain't over until we say it's over.
Seriously....crying about taking 3 out of 4 from the best team in baseball in their park?😆
46-24 on the road. 22 games over .500 ON THE ROAD!!
There's no crying in baseball. ⚾
This is quite a team in Milwaukee. Very fun to watch too.
The Brewers could go162-0 in the regular season, sweep in the NL playoffs, and win the W S 4-3, but some people would bitch because they lost 3 games.

Who’s fucking crying? A bullshit overturned call should have ended the SF rally. I don’t know if the offense had anything in them today, but I don’t like losing a game because of a bullshit call. Any game.
Would have been nice to get the sweep, but tough to complain about taking 3 of 4 from one of the best teams in baseball in their house.
Keep it rolling Brewers. It’s shaping up to be an exciting end of season and hopefully long playoff run.
I didn't have the game on but what happened in the 9th? I got an alert that Adames hit a 2 run homer then a minute later the game ended 5-1. Was it something down the line that was called fair then reviewed as a foul ball?

In the bottom of the 8th, with 2 outs Devin Williams clearly pitched around Kris Bryant and walked him on 4 pitches. While the next batter was up, Bryant took off for second with a 2-1 count and was called out by the umpire who was in perfect position to make the call. The Giants challenged it and after one of the longest replay delays I've ever seen in MLB, it get's overturned and Bryant is called safe by the league office. The delay was so long that Williams actually threw some pitches to try to stay loose, but he was clearly affected by the long stoppage in play. He walks the batter after the delay and the next batter doubles in Bryant. Then, the next batter hits a 3 run HR. The Adames HR would have only cut the lead to 2 from 4. The big call was the overturn.
Based on seeing the replays over and over (at least the ones they showed on the telecast), there was no definitive replay that showed he was safe. That's probably what took so long since if you looked at all the angles and pieced them together in your mind, he looked like he was "probably" safe. Counsell got tossed arguing the Adames call, but I think he really wanted to get tossed to protest the overturned stolen base. He carefully worded his comments afterwards to say the league office must have had more angles to look at that they didn't see in the ballpark since there wasn't a shot that he saw that warranted overturning the call.
We'll at least the main bullpen guys will get a night off tonight.
Shit happens.
Freddy not ready. I may be at the game tomorrow night. Houser better be ready.
Reds lose the same way to Detroit…all good.
Me too.
Get the impression they had a little west coast still in em last night. Not an easy commute to play the next day coming back from the west coast and not get a day off.
I think it was more like Freddy hadn't pitched competivly for 16 days, Topa was still injured, and Noris and Milner won't be on the playoff roster. Also no Avisial Garcia and Escobars fisrt day back after a lay off.
Wow wee.....Houser with a complete game!! Brewers had gone since June 18th, 2017 (Jimmy Nelson)
First one of Counsels tenure too.
Yes it's 101. Fly out to RF. Counsell had Hader-ade ready just in case but great performance by Houser

Weird game today so far. Burnes gives up 3 runs. Gives up an infield, single, a solid single, and walk to load the bases with 1 out. Then one run scores on a sac fly and two more on a grounder down the 3rd baseline that was originally ruled an error. Burnes was otherwise pretty dominant.
Down 3-1 heading to the bottom of the 6th. Lester pretty dominant himself so far.
This one gets a little farther away from them in the 7th as Kirk Cousins' Cousin gets hit for one of the first times all year. Brewers down 5-1 and lucky not to be down more after the Cards leave the bases loaded.
LOL

Daniel. Freaking. Vogelbach!
Vogelbomb!
Love that low shot of Reyes walking off the diamond as Vogie rounds third base,
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in a single frame.
Special team. No quit.
I told my Dad on the phone before the 9th that I would give him $100 if the Crew came back to win. Guys, I’m unemployed…can everyone Venmo my Dad $10?
