For the first time in franchise history, the Brewers are 32 games over .500

If the Brewers go 8-12 from here on out, Cincy must go 20-0

If the Brewers go 6-14, StL would have to go 22-0

He did.

Which infielder appeals to you more?

A- .251/.340/.452/.792

B- .258/.305/.502/.807

What if I told you player B wants a $200 million dollar contract?  Player A will make around 600K

Urias has really come on (Player A).

The Zach Davies/Grisham trade for Lauer/Urias looked like one of the few clunkers for the Brewers as recently as May. Looks a lot more even now.

Brewers at it agin 3 total runs in the 1st and 2nd innings.   Yelich with a double to deep right center in the 1st.      And now Burnes strikes out the side in the bottom of the 2nd.

Oh, and Eric Lauer  will be starting in place of Woodruff tomorrow.  Woody has a stomache ailment.

CC goes to Hader.

Big picture as Blair says.

Burnes isn't a free agent until 2025, so he won't sign his massive contract with the Yankees or Dodgers until then.

Hader closes it out.

I remember the Juan Nieves game. Been a long time.

One of the biggest mysteries ever is what happened to Burnes in 2019. He's pitched at a Hall of Fame level in 2018, 2020, and 2021.

Maybe Hiura can be the equivalent on offense next year and recover from an awful year.

This team is special. Hard core avid fan for 50 years and this team is challenging Bambi’s squads as my favorites.

If you combined this pitching staff with the 1982 offense, they'd have won 140 games.

Rowdy Tellez and Daniel Vogelbach is a lot of beef to score a run.

Tell me Cain's catch didn't remind you of Yount

The Brewers are going to win between 95 and 100 games this year.

They will do this without a single player hitting 30 HRs, having 100 RBIs, or hitting over 300.

This might be a good thing in the playoffs. There isn't really anyone that you'd fear enough to pitch around, but they have a bunch of guys that are good enough to win with and it seems like its a different guy every game on offense that comes through.

Of course, it's having 5 or 6 all-star caliber pitchers on the staff that's doing this.

Not only hitting but no pitcher will have even 15 wins.  Brett Anderson will probably be the only pitcher currently with the Brewers with a losing record.  Compare that to the Orioles of 1971 with Palmer, McNally, Cuellar and Dobson each winning 20 games.

And they are pounding the Indians again today 7-0 in the 3rd.    Wong, Garcia and Pina with home runs.

Burnes has to be right there in the Cy Young voting for the NL after that gem last night.

From Will Sammon on twitter. Even with this, I bet Scherzer wins it if he pitches well the next two weeks. The coastal bias is as big in baseball as it is in the NBA.
