now here is a case where Badell SHOULD step in.  wanna take bets on that happening?

as for raiola, he just went on my target list.  wasn't my ticket yesterday but if he's still on the loins next year I'll be bringing my A game for him.

edit: this had gotten under my skin pretty good for some reason.  verbally abusing marching band members before the game and right before the Nat'l anthem...  I get that the guy is so frustrated from losing to the Packers again and again and again, but you take out your envy on the marching band?  on college students who have nothing to do with the game you're about to play?  and you, yourself a fat man, have all the originality of a piece of gravel to call them "fat" and then lower yourself even further into homophobic slurs and calling one girl the name which any grown man knows you should probably never use even if it's true?  yes, that's the face of the NFL badell is looking for, I'm sure.  and, yes, I would think the loins lost the game before it ever even started - karma's been pretty quick a few times this year.  thanks for giving me more reason to hate your team, domidick.

Wasn't there some turd on the Queens - a WR I think - who got in the face of the UW band members while they were marching before the game a few years ago?

Raiola is a POS if this is true, but since his coach is also a scumbag absolutely nothing will be done about it.  I just wonder if there's any way to corroborate this other than with witnesses.  There are hot mikes all over the field now.  That'd be interesting to see.

Since this dirtball is a leader among the players and his coach is what he is, it's really no wonder to see how Detoilet pretty much sucks.  They're rotten from the inside-out.

Credos to Delmas for at least trying to show some decency.

Welcome back Goalline

Guys, all we need to do is get this story to PFT or some other source & let it go viral.

It'll be on NFL Network by tonight

We can also ship the link to the NFL. Let's make the NFL investigate this.

Let's see how much Goodell cares about the "face" of the NFL.

EDIT: Looks like it's already out there.

Player imitating the coach. Schwartz probably thinks Raiola was "just getting himself ready" to play and sees nothing wrong with Raiola's actions. It's great that they keep Schwartz around because if that team ever got a really good coach, they could be dangerous with the talent they have. But Schwartz's methods and lack of discipline are interfering with the progress of the team. Gotta think some of the more level-headed guys on that team don't want to play for him or put up with that crap.

I sent an email to the NFL earlier today with a link to the story.

"Dominic Raiola is literally the worst person I have ever had the fortune to encounter. After marching down the field awaiting the national anthem, He went off on a verbal tirade, among other things, questioning my sexuality (as a band member) and then continued on to bring my sister and my recently deceased mother into the conversation. After I refused to give him the satisfaction of turning to look at him, he switched targets to a trombone ranting at him calling him overweight and saying he can't play a real sport. After our halftime show, the same fine gentleman called a female member of the band the "c" word."

SO many things to not like about the Lions.  All mentioned above.  Some people like Raiola are just NOT Packer people.  Schwartz is a punk, Suh is an idiot and now Riola is just a bully and a first class imbecile.  Yet nothing will be done about Raiola's shocking behavior and that type of enabling has been going on for years.  Sad, but true.

You reap what you sow and the Lions will NEVER win with Schwartz running the show, and that's great for the green and gold.

Oh yeah, the time out with 24 seconds?  What a child/baby...smh.

Proud to be a fan of a FIRST CLASS organization like GB.

This is now little of a person Schwartz is...if you watch the end of the game where he took the time out, right before it everyone acted (even Detroit) like the game was over and time would expire.  Schwartz took the timeout and you could see him yelling on the sidelines at the refs saying "You're goddamn right I'm taking *MY* timeout, you don't tell me when the game is over."

Basically he had an issue with everyone "assuming the game was over" so he threw a hissy fit and took the timeout to "let them know who's boss".  F'n Idot.

I caught video of McCarthy this morning responding to this.

He said and I don't directly quote:

"I don't know why in the hell he(Raiola) would do something like that.  We love the UW Marching band and we love having them here."

edit - the actual quote:

โ€œWe love the Wisconsin band, and obviously, I donโ€™t know what the hell heโ€™s thinking about, saying anything negative to the band,โ€ McCarthy said Monday of Raiola, whose younger brother Donovan, coincidentally, played at Wisconsin.

โ€œI donโ€™t know what was said or this and that. I know our fans love it when the Wisconsin band is here. Phenomenal reputation; they did a great job yesterday. But as far as who said what, I really donโ€™t have any comment on it.โ€

Lions Team President calls UW band director and aplogizes for Raiola's behaviour. Dont have the exact quote but he said something like while their investigation into the matter was still ongoing he had learned enough already that an apology was definitely warranted. He did it sincerely per the report.

Since Raiola has already been fined twice for indescretions against fans ($7,500 & $15,000), expect he will be fined even more for this infraction as well.
