That was great! I'm already getting a little teary eyed.

Among the #Packers players/dignitaries here: Jordy Nelson, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Tim Masthay, Tom Crabtree, Ryan Taylor, Bob Harlan ...

@packers
Donald’s family has arrived at Lambeau Field for today’s event.

Ring of honor is for NFL HOF members. I don't know if there is a rule but I doubt they would break that precident.

If that is the rule, that is crazy. However, if there was ever an exception to the rule, DD is that exception. Hard to not have the leading receiver in franchise history in the Ring of Honor.
MM just got choked up during this. Ted Thompson even showed more personality than ever before

Very proud of the Pack organization right now. Great presentation for a GREAT player and a GREAT man. Thank you again, DD!

@WesHod
Driver and his wife watching a video montage of his career #packers

@jasonjwilde
Meanwhile, @Donald_Driver80 is tearing up on stage as he watches it.

@Paulimig
From my seat at Donald Driver's retirement ceremony, I counted six women crying. And I can really only see about 75 people from my seat.

@MikeVandermause
Driver is stoic in watching some of his career highlights on video. He looks like he will miss the game.

@JermichaelF88
Watching a natural born leader, a man I look up to w respect & genuine admiration retire... @Donald_Driver80 love u man. U did it big!

Ditto, gonna miss that huge grin. I hope they find a way to keep him active as part of the organization.

I wonder if that feed is going to hold up. Already up to 6,500 viewers and climbing steadily.

Got up over 16,000! with no issues
Went through a few Kleenex's on that one. Humble. Sincerity. Kindness. Integrity. Character. Loyalty. Class. The list goes on and on.

Driver did everything right, including his exit from the franchise. He will be regarded and loved on the level of Bart Starr.
That was very touching all across the board. Driver, Management, and the fans all were great. I'm glad I got to watch it. I thought maybe they would have a teammate or two speak. I wonder what players were there.

I'm sure he truly believes he can still play, but I also believe that he saw how many fans reacted/still react to Favre and he doesn't want any part of that.

I think if DD went to go play for another team, most if not all fans would be all for that, and they would be happy to see him succeed. There are many differences obviously between TOG and DD. The most important being that DD would never try and sabotauge the Packers, which we know isn't the case with TOG.

It is a little bit wierd that AR wasn't there, and in the video clips, no clip of TOG saying something to him.
I thought DD's comments about legacy and retiring a Packer weren't just directed at Bert but may have also been a subtle message to Greg Jennings.

Don't be in such a big hurry to get out of town Greg.

The organization did a great job honoring everything he meant to Green Bay today.

Jennings was so quick to get out of the door that it really tarnished his image for me. He seemed too excited in leaving Green Bay. I hope he goes to a real sucky team. He will then truly realize how special Green Bay is.

Jennings lost me a bit when he was asked what would be the hardest part of leaving Green Bay... "Nothing" (Or something similar to that).

Ok then.

If Titus Young wasn't such a punk ass he'd could do some damage in this offense with AR.
That one didn't sit too well with me either, Pakrz. A simple, "playing with these guys and coaches" would have sufficed.

The guy deserves every dime he ends up getting, and I don't think the Pack could afford even close to what market value will be. That said, could have done without the 12-month media tour he's been doing to promote his upcoming availability.
