Ennio Morricone, the Italian composer who scored hundreds of movies over a 60-year career, has died aged 91.

There are a lot of Youtube videos out there of Morricone conducting his own scores, so I'll include a few:

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, the movie that really made him famous;

Once Upon a Time in America

The Mission, which earned Morricone an Oscar nomination;

Cinema Paradiso, which Ennio composed in collaboration with his son Andrea; or

The Hateful Eight, the movie that finally won Morricone a competitive Oscar
