The good news for the playoffs is that half the teams in the NFC don't have experience with winning in the playoffs. Rodgers, Wilson, and Manning do and I think that will make a big difference.
An aspect of the NFC North Championship Game against the Loins next week - GB played Saturday and the kitties don't play until on the road Monday in Dallas...may seem trivial, but like the 48+ hours the Pack has on its side.
Wonder if both DAL and DET play it like an Exhibition?
Run the table! 10 in a row
No, Detoilet will very much try to win in Dallas. They can still get the #2 seed if they win out. That extra week of rest could be huge for Pad Statsford owie finger.

What about Matt Ryan?
I remember a playoff game he had against Green Bay.
See? He has experience.
It seems the biggest game that affects the Packers for the playoffs is the Giant/Redskins game.
REDSKINS win means Packers MUST win to make playoffs.
Giants win means Pack is in as 6 seed even if they lose.
Bottom line. Go into Detroit & win that game.

He is 1-4 in the playoffs. It does say winning in the playoffs. I guess his record is considered losing in the playoffs. Same for Kirk Cousins. And since the game vs. Giants is essentially a playoff game, Washington will lose.

You spelled Detoilet rong
Ooh, insult Boris. Real smart.

That's a huge advantage. A 56 hour lead in recovery time for such a strenuous activity is no trivial matter. The Packer better take advantage of it.

So, do we sit a half gimpy Arod if the Giants win or do we go after the division and possibly the 3 seed?
I think that silly question answers itself.
Release the gimp!
Ya gotta go Balls Out and beat the Loins! Must. Beat. Lions. Everyone plays! Now, if we get a huge lead LATE, then rest AR.

I was at the game on Saturday and he looked fine to me. Especially on that touchdown run. And to jump in the stands, told me he was fine.
I get nervous every time he takes off. Those hammies don't get better with sprints.

Until you realize that this QB has a world championship as a 6 seed.

Like Saturday.

He couldn't do half the stuff on Saturday ifhe had hamstring problems.
After many computations and scenarios put through the playoff simulator......
I have GB taking the North. Getting the 4 seed. With the Giants in Lambeau in two weeks.
The path to Houston is a little easier if Atlanta gets the 2 seed. Important that they win on Sunday. I wouldn't sleep on SF taking down Seattle in SF either. That game is GBs key to the 3 seed.
GB HAS to win Sunday night.

Not true. He is not running all out like he did earlier in the season. Yes, he is healthier, but...

He wasn't trotting on that touchdown run that's for sure. I see it differently than you.
He's still getting caught from behind by DT's because he is protecting the hammy, but Arod is clearly a tough guy. Anyone who has played sports with a bad hammy knows you can cut it loose at times.
just curious...but...what is the path for the Pack to get the #2 seed?
in order for GB to get the 2 seed they will need the following to happen.
Wait for the 2017 season to start.
Yup, that ended when the Falcons won this weekend.
The best GB can get is a 3 seed. GB needs to win next Sunday. SF needs to beat Seattle. If those two things happen GB is a lock for the 3 seed, get Detroit in Lambeau for the Wild Card. Then head to Atlanta for the divisional round. That's if Detroit wins tonight and locks up a playoff spot. The Giants-Washington game next week becomes meaningless.
Go SF!!!!
thanks. I forgot about Atlanta winning.
I like the idea of heading to Atlanta in the divisional round.
We need to stop the falcon running game
Shopping with John Elway?
The way I read it (now that the Loins lost) is that the Redskins are in with a win against the Giants....and the loser of GB/Loins is out?...so, Just win then....
Or another way, if the Redskins lose, then the Packers are in as a WC no matter what happens against the Lions.
The Giants are locked into the 5 seed regardless of any outcomes this weekend. They'll be resting people against Washington.
If GB and Detroit TIE. Then they are both in and Washington is out even if they beat NY. Keep that in mind Sunday night if the game goes to OT. GB would win the division and could still get the 3 seed if SF beats Seattle.
Regarding that game, keep in mind Eli Manning is riding a major consecutive games starts streak. He's now 3rd behind Peyton and Favre.
From ESPN sux :
But this is unlikely to be the week for that. Manning wants his 199th consecutive start to happen. He doesn't want to see the Giants starters rested for the playoffs, at least for the entirety of Sunday's game.
"My take is to play. I think to go in there, play well and try to find a good rhythm offensively going against a team in the division, a team you know well and they know us, I think that's the mindset," Manning said. "Until I'm told differently, that's how I'm taking it."
Giants are going to win.
Rather, I think the Redskins are going to lose.
Manning will play the first quarter. It would be surprising if Washington lost at home to Ryan Nassib with the playoffs on the line.
