An aspect of the NFC North Championship Game against the Loins next week - GB played Saturday and the kitties don't play until on the road Monday in Dallas...may seem trivial, but like the 48+ hours the Pack has on its side.

Wonder if both DAL and DET play it like an Exhibition?

Run the table! 10 in a row

The good news for the playoffs is that half the teams in the NFC don't have experience with winning in the playoffs. Rodgers, Wilson, and Manning do and I think that will make a big difference.

What about Matt Ryan?

See? He has experience.

It seems the biggest game that affects the Packers for the playoffs is the Giant/Redskins game.

REDSKINS win means Packers MUST win to make playoffs.

Giants win means Pack is in as 6 seed even if they lose.

Bottom line. Go into Detroit & win that game.

He is 1-4 in the playoffs. It does say winning in the playoffs.  I guess his record is considered losing in the playoffs.  Same for Kirk Cousins.   And since the game vs. Giants is essentially a playoff game, Washington will lose.

That's a huge advantage. A 56 hour lead in recovery time for such a strenuous activity is no trivial matter. The Packer better take advantage of it.

So, do we sit a half gimpy Arod if the Giants win or do we go after the division and possibly the 3 seed?

I was at the game on Saturday and he looked fine to me. Especially on that touchdown run. And to jump in the stands, told me he was fine.

I get nervous every time he takes off. Those hammies don't get better with sprints.

He couldn't do half the stuff on Saturday ifhe had hamstring problems.

The path to Houston is a little easier if Atlanta gets the 2 seed. Important that they win on Sunday. I wouldn't sleep on SF taking down Seattle in SF either. That game is GBs key to the 3 seed.

GB HAS to win Sunday night.

Not true. He is not running all out like he did earlier in the season. Yes, he is healthier, but...

He wasn't trotting on that touchdown run that's for sure. I see it differently than you.

He's still getting caught from behind by DT's because he is protecting the hammy, but Arod is clearly a tough guy. Anyone who has played sports with a bad hammy knows you can cut it loose at times.

The best GB can get is a 3 seed. GB needs to win next Sunday. SF needs to beat Seattle. If those two things happen GB is a lock for the 3 seed, get Detroit in Lambeau for the Wild Card. Then head to Atlanta for the divisional round. That's if Detroit wins tonight and locks up a playoff spot. The Giants-Washington game next week becomes meaningless.

Go SF!!!!

The Giants are locked into the 5 seed regardless of any outcomes this weekend. They'll be resting people against Washington.

If GB and Detroit TIE. Then they are both in and Washington is out even if they beat NY. Keep that in mind Sunday night if the game goes to OT. GB would win the division and could still get the 3 seed if SF beats Seattle.

Regarding that game, keep in mind Eli Manning is riding a major consecutive games starts streak. He's now 3rd behind Peyton and Favre.

From ESPN sux :

But this is unlikely to be the week for that. Manning wants his 199th consecutive start to happen. He doesn't want to see the Giants starters rested for the playoffs, at least for the entirety of Sunday's game.

"My take is to play. I think to go in there, play well and try to find a good rhythm offensively going against a team in the division, a team you know well and they know us, I think that's the mindset," Manning said. "Until I'm told differently, that's how I'm taking it."
