Something doesn't make sense here. In case you were wondering, 0.5K is equivalent to 546 yards, or roughly the length of 1.75 football fields. 546 yards is more that 1.75 football fields.
I dare you to run it and report back.
How many football fields is it?
I can assure you my intent wasn't to turn this into an ACT question.
length = 120 yards. Width 53.3 yards
perimeter = 2L + 2 W = 240 + 106.6 = 346.6
1.75 x 346.6 = 606.55 yards
Schyt.
I couldn't get into Waukesha Tech with my ACT score---and now this?
On maybe they confused yards and feet. 546 divided by 3 = 182 or about 1.75 football fields.

I run that before breakfast every morning. That's how far my toilet is from my bed.
1 K = .62 miles
.5 K = .31 miles
.31 X 1760 = 546 yards.....so that is correct.
But you are right Ammo, maybe the article
Now the .05k race would be .031 miles or 54.6 yards.
There are plenty of legit races that feature free beers and non-healthy eats although not sure about the smoking stations.
Heck, itâs a big reason we do the Fall 50 in Door County every year. The beer and pizza tent at the end is well worth it. You can replenish all the calories burned during the race.
I think itâs pretentious for them to have a race at all and then shamelessly promote it. Very disappointed in you Texas. You are not representing the cankle population very well. Know your place and pass the smokes!
Maybe they confused yards with rods
