On paper, the Niners.
The Rams have a LOT of playmakers and probably underachieved during the regular season. They have the best interior lineman in football, a HOF edge rusher, a top 3 WR, and a Pro Bowl CB. Their QB is as physically talented as anyone in football.
Other than having a great TE, the Niners have to generate offense using a gadget slot WR (he's very good, but the scheme gets him a lot of openings). Amari Rodgers was supposed to be a poor man's version of Samuel, but he couldn't even beat out street free agents for offensive snaps. Jimmy G. is by far the worst QB that played this weekend. Their offensive line is not very good. Kyle Shanahan got to the NFC title game by outcoaching the last two Packer head coaches. The Cowboys ran a QB sneak up the middle of the field with no timeouts. MLF admitted to Aikman before the game he was just hoping their special teams wouldn't lose it for him. That's amazing leadership - ignore a problem and hope it doesn't get worse!!
The Niners defense has some good pieces - obviously Bosa and Warner. But the secondary is not very good and in good weather the Rams will boat race them.
