Steffen's days at City are over, City signing Stefan Ortega from just relegated Arminia Bielefeld.

Talk about an absolute decline...when City signed Steffen, his star was fast rising...now he's not even the best keeper on the USMNT. I feel for the kid...really thought he'd be the next Tim Howard...he just never developed. TBF Pep's use of keeper wasn't going to translate well to the international game...he needs to be at a club where it's more important what he does in between the pipes than what he does with the ball at his feet.

Berhalter is a lightweight…he got the squad back to top 3 in CONCACAF which is a low bar. He’s got more talent to work with than any coach before him…but Canada owns his ass.

If they play to ability they will come in 2nd in the group and advance to the knockout round. That the WC is in November there is a reasonable shot England could have some key players out with injury…that makes an upset, even a draw, possible. Southgate is garbage…he has been known to Mike McCarthy from time to time.

If we were just talking about total fouls you'd be correct, however, his fouls per minutes play dropped off a cliff too. Maybe because he was playing in bigger games where more was at stake refs swallowed the whistle more than they would say if Villa was down by 3 at Liverpoo or some such thing...but fact is, he stopped getting calls once he came to City compared to his previous years at AV.

But only one season of data, so let's see what happens year 2...and his minutes played will assuredly go up with Sterling and Jesus now gone.

Also...funny note of the night...did anyone notice when Haaland scored Lambeau started playing "Bang the Drum All Day?"

CL...Holy shit Group C! BM vs the Fighting Lewandowskis! And Inter is no cake walk. At least they avoid the 6 hour flight to Tel Aviv!

Spurs gonna win Group D...Marseille is not an easy one either.

City got lucky AF...weakest #2 of the pot, Dortmund is tough but they've lost a lot over the summer. FC Copenhagen...slightly better than The Young Boys. Maybe.

Arsenal are no joke…if Jesus had actually played this well for City…

What do you care. Haaland is banging them in like he does to cheap hookers(speculation ). I have been saying it for 100 years now. If City got a Haaland or a Kane, watch out! Why was it so hard for trained professionals like Pep or City fans like you to see it? Instead they wasted 100 million on Grealish.

They got lucky that Haaland didn't cost them a mint...Dortmund could have been assholes about it, but they knew Haaland wanted to go so they took a lower number than they could have demanded.

Grealish was purchased for more than just what he does on the pitch...Mr. Gucci is the cool breeze between a lot of City fans legs. He had most kits sold last year of any player which baffles me...but the ladies like Jackie Boy I guess. He was never brought in to bang goals home unlike Haaland and to a lesser degree Julian Alvarez...that kid is gonna be special.

But back to the kid that is already special...the last goal he scored...FFS, that was a worldie. Throwing defenders off his back like a video game. I'm actually happy for Jesus...he is a really sensitive kid. I think when he knows he's getting the start and he's the target man, his confidence goes sky high and we are seeing that at Arse.

City better figure out their fucking defending...you're not going down 2-0 to Poo, Spurs or Arse and coming back to win 4-2. Sadly the best CB had been Nathan Ake, and he got a knock last match, so God only knows how long he will be out.

Is Son injured? 3 matches, zero goals so far...kinda rare.
