The Bucks are really missing Middleton.

He's a borderline Hall of Fame player. It's not surprising they miss him. He's a top 30 offensive player in the NBA in the regular season and probably top 10 in the playoffs since his ability to score in isolation sets is what makes him go.

It's not just that they miss him for what he can do. They also miss him for what it forces all the other guys to do outside what their optimal roles are.

Holiday can bully smaller guards, but he's not going to win in isolation against bigger players very often. Portis is a great guy to take shots when he's the 4th guy the defense has to worry about, but not when he's asked to do what Middleton does.

I’m sorry but Bud has failed miserably in this series

Instead of getting Giannis and Lopez in the paint and forcing Boston to defend them it’s iso iso iso pretty much the Toronto ECF all over again

Disagree.

The Bucks have the best player on the floor, but based on the play during this series, the Celtics have the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th best players (Tatum, Brown, Smart, and Horford).

Pat Connaughton has showed up again, and G. Allen has been OK. But when Holiday, Lopez, Portis, and Matthews are 13 for 39 on some pretty good looks, it's not the coaches fault.

Yelich hitting for the cycle means as much to me as Russ Westbrook getting a triple double.

Baseball stats are funny that way.

Boston shooting 54% yes it’s an 8pt game can the Bucks pull a 4Q miracle like Boston game 4?

As fightphoe93 says, someone like Pat C. has to go nuclear. This is a spot where Middleton has won them some playoff games by doing just that.
