The Pack just isn't a very smart football team this year, and sadly, Aaron Rodgers is letting it affect him.  He's always risen above whatever happened around him, but this year, his attitude has been s*!t from the moment in the offseason that Jordy Nelson was let go.  Somehow someway, he's got to get straightened out.

Should we start blaming that fidget spinner girlfriend of his?

I doubt this is a Jordy issue. The team has more talent than the Bears, right? No talent excuse for not leading the division.

So, he’s a shitty leader? Leaders don’t let their teammates affect them. The raise the rest of the team.

But let's blame Arron, he just want to hit the home run ball every play.

Particularly on 3rd and 2

Third and 2?  That won't get you on the Top 10 or commercials....

I think the 3rd and 2 pass was tipped, but that was also coaching related. The Seahawks know that there is very little threat of a run and they are coming with and all out blitz so they stop and jump because they know Rodgers has to get the ball out.

If there is a run threat they have to hang back a bit to make sure they don't overrun a draw.

Look. Rodgers didn't have a great night. Should have taken some underneath stuff to keep drives going instead of going for the long ball.

But those of you complaining he "doesn't throw the ball away". What have you guys been watching all year? Rodgers spent the first half of the season throwing the ball away to avoid sacks. He never forces the ball. Ever. He's thrown one interception in ten games.

One.

These are the same bed wetters that were crying about how Favre was too reckless.

Rodgers is frustrated. The play calling is just dumb. Rodgers isn't getting any help from his Head Coach. Every week, we watch, and every week, we know McCarthy is going to abandon the run, no matter what the situation. Up 21? Screw it. Let's have Aaron chuck it up some more. Down by 10? Can't run the ball. Ever.

When Jimmy Graham, Geronimo Allison and Randall Cobb are out, logic dictates that you rely on your running game. You know, the running game with the back leading the NFL In yards per carry. But we end up running the ball four times in the second half. FOUR.

Place the blame where it belongs. Squarely on Mike McCarthy's head. Rodgers deserves some criticism, yes. But show me another QB who has thrown as much as Rodgers has in a season, with one God damned interception.

This team is a dumpster fire. And I'm sick of hearing, "we'll get it fixed". I like MM as a person, but as a Head Coach, his time is over. A complete revamp is desperately needed in Green Bay.

Funny you mention Holmgren, Ned.  I was just thinking about how 8 different players would catch passes from Favre over the course of one game.  This O is broken.  Rodgers only trusts Adams and is holding the ball, Jones doesn't get the chance to run enough, and the continued deep shot play calls instead of keeping the chains moving with a dead, tired, beat-up defense, no rhythm in the offense, continued play clock and timeout issues proves MM has lost command of the ship.

Bears have much more talent.

You mean coaching staff right?

Complete revamp? I like many of the players and Pettine. I think we need MM to go, if that is what you mean by complete revamp I agree.

No I mean players. Packers have more talented players than the division leading Bears.

A Mike McCarthy masterpiece: Blow your timeouts so you don’t use your challenge but you do punt on fourth-and-2 when your D is getting steamrolled.

Obviously Mike McCarthy will get blamed for this loss for not challenging the big completion to Lockett, which was not a catch. Look for ARodg to subtly blame him. At this rate McCarthy will be Baker Mayfield's head coach next year.

Peter King on Twitter:

Green Bay under .500 on Thanksgiving. Rodgers has started all 10 games. β€” Regardless how the Packers got there, that portends bad things for Mike McCarthy. Very bad.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. A revamp of the offensive scheme. I like a lot of the parts on defense. I think Pettine has the D headed in the right direction. Fackrell played out of his mind tonight. Kenny Clark is a Pro Bowler, maybe this year. Daniels is still good, though he disappears at times. I like Martinez. I think King (if he can ever get healthy) has ball hawking skills. I really like Alexander's upside, and think Jackson will be very good, too. The D did everything it could tonight decimated. This isn't on them.

The offense is beyond help. I'm sure that Rodgers is just wanting to explode inside. I can predict the play call a good 30% of the time because logic escapes McCarthy.

I don't know if I'd want Pettine as HC. He could do it, but I want him to focus on the defense. We need a new skipper with some offensive creativity. A guru. Somebody that will help reign in some of Rodgers' tendencies, of late. Stressing to keep the chains moving. Somebody that will see ESB, MVS, Adams, Jones, Graham....and implement the system that will maximize their skill set.

And frankly, Arron can go sit stupid ass at the house come playoff time. Because he refuse to play within the system, fire MM, but also take Rodgers with him

Maybe stop talking for a while champ. Maybe sit the few plays out.

Rodgers has become Farve all over again, but that's MM ' s fault. You have a lot of blame, but no cure

With Holmgren you could expect creativity, resourcefulness, smart game management, player development, great coaching hires and a solid philosophy and plan. MM hasn't demonstrated much of that since at least that 2014 NFCCC game. In fact, this team has been in quicksand for years.

As good as Holmgren was, even his schtick got old. And now so has MM's.
