My favorite Beatle. Died way too young.
Loved his Traveling Wilburys stuff as well.
I am somewhat obsessed with The Wilbury’s 2 albums. Such catchy songs. Such gravitas.
Loved his slide guitar work. "Day After Day" by Badfinger showcased his slide playing. He was my favorite Beatle, as well.
The Concert for George is on my PBS station this week, check your listings if interested.
The concert for George was fantastic. George was also my favorite Beatle and I truly believe that his music with the Beatles wasn't appreciated as much as it should have been.

“Wilbury” was a slang term first used by Harrison during the recording of Cloud Nine with Jeff Lynne. Referring to recording errors created by some faulty equipment, Harrison jokingly remarked to Lynne, “We’ll bury ’em in the mix”. Thereafter, they used the term for any small error in performance and the term was used again when the group were together…
A bunch of famous guys who didn't need the money just sitting around and having fun like teenagers playing music in their garage.

Loved that the sequel album is named Volume 3 to mess with people.
"Got my mind set on you" is my favorite solo. "Here comes the sun" is his best Beatles work.
My favorite Wilbury song, with the tribute to Lefty Wilbury
