Would have been nice if the Giants were dropping passes vs. the Pack like they are tonite.
That said.
For $350K, I'd clean his glasses too.

The defending champs have never lost one of these games since they began way back, it would be pretty funny to see the Giants be the first one to blow it.
At that level, I'm betting he uses moleskin.
Screw Bedard!
Well, I hope the Cowgals take this one.
Witten has been awful.
ROMO!!!! Yeah!
And G Men secondary fails again.
Fire Coughlin!
If the Giants got hot last year, it must have been uncomfortably hot. They look turrrrrible.
How can they play with those pterydactyls flitting about the Meadowlands.
Greg Jennings with an Old Spice commercial.
You go son!
You go son!
Wait, you guys are watching the game? You know Bill Clinton is speaking, right?
I'm wearing my favorite blue dress.
How will Romo screw this one up?
Terrible pass. The receiver was wide open.
Had Ogletree for a third TD if he was on target. Romo not locked in.
1st and 30 and Giants can't stop them. Just one game but Rodgers would be shredding this secondary if they were playing them tonight. Mind you Romo doing all this with a 2nd-3rd string OL.
Giants, in this game, are terrible.
Hellava catch by Austin! F the Giants!
Drop #3 by cruz.
Back to Ogletree.
Normally hate the cryboys but nice to see the G men fall. 1st time in 9 trys the defending SB champs lose their opener. Awesome.
Love seeing Coughlin's face as well.

Well 0-1 with my picks thus far this week, but I
l'll take it!
l'll take it!
Coughlin's future as Giants coach is doubtful.
Given the injuries at DB, that sure looked like an 8-8 team defending its crown last night. With that, I'll be betting my next paycheck on them to win the Super Bowl.
it's a long season. I saw Eli make a couple throws early in the game that were incredible (never thought I'd say that about him). and Cruz dropping 3 doesn't help anything. I'll pay way more attention to the NYG than dallass. I'm pretty sure that even if dallass starts fast they'll fall apart eventually.
Romo had a great game. In September. We've seen this before.
Watching Justin Tryon try to cover receivers while getting systematically picked on and chewed to pieces made me think of one thing..... Bush.
DeMarco Murray was a beast in the second half. He ended up being the guy delivering the blows. That's what I hope Benson is for GB this year.

Romo was excellent in the 2nd half. His O-Line wasn't doing him any favors with all the false starts and such either. Romo does still seem to have a problem getting the plays called before the play clock hits zero though.
Murray looked fantastic. I'd go so far as to say that if he had stayed healthy last year, I think the Cowboys would have won that division and the Giants would have been on the outside looking in and never would have made their run. He looks a bit like how Adrian Petersen used to look before the injury though he might not be quite as fast.
The Giants start the season again battling injuries and playing below their capabilities. Make no mistake, when Green Bay faces them later in the year, I doubt we'll see Victor Cruz drop 3 easy passes against us and I expect Hakeem Nicks will be fully recovered from his injuries. It would be nice if the Pack got to pick on Justin Tryon as a CB, but by then New York should get Prince A. back.

Last night was the first time, since his debacle against the Seahawks ? years ago,
that I watched Tony Romo for any extended period. I came away impressed. His pocket presence was very good. One play that wowed me was 3rd qaurter, under heavy rush. He spun like he was taking off to run and the rushers both moved to cut off his escape lanes. Romo just did a pirouette in place and set up for a nice completion on a comeback route.
If he can keep his wits like that consistently, the Cowboys could be very competitive this season. Their D is much improved with the new corners.
