BTW, a little advise from DocBenni after my shift last night:  if you ever plan on sticking something into your a$$.  Please tie a string to it.....

Hey Doc:   did you plagiarize that from one of those "Hints from Heloise" articles in Good HouseKeeping magazine:  "remember, IF you ever plan on sticking something up your butt, then don't forget to tie a string to it..."

thanks DocBenni!

No matter what happens today, I want to go on record as saying that I'm proud of this team and what they have done since going 4-6. I was one of those who was calling for a clean slate (I'm sure someone can dig up my old posts if needed).  I was calling for a lose out the rest of the season to improve draft status.  I am enjoying my crow.  I've browned it a little and thrown it into a great roux.  I'm serving it as kind of an etouffe over some dirty rice.  I figured a cajun theme would be nice.

I'm not sure how today's game/rest of the playoffs will go, nor do I know what the off season holds.  However, I love this team and being a Packer fan. I will not enjoy leaving  home immediatley after the game and going into work, but such is life.  Hopefully it will be after a Packer's playoff win so I can remind some of those I work with here in detwat, that they haven't had one in a long, long time.

Go Pack!

I remember.....

No matter what happens in the playoffs this year, changes are needed to stay competitive.

I love this team & I'm thankful they are in the playoffs.

FYI....Currently the home team is winning/has won every playoff game this year. Let's hope that trend continues.

The finality of it all sucks but we can & will prevail. How about an instant classic in our favor today?? I would really enjoy that.

Intense but relaxed.  Pissed off and shouldered-chipped, but having fun at the same time.

Mike will have them ready.  He's done this.  Rodgers too.

It's that defense is the big 'ole question mark, and even that is from injuries.

How about some help for them from old Lambeau?  Game did not sell out until yesterday, but it sold out.    Props to the fans braving -1 degrees to support the good guys and hopefully giving Eli hell.

Pitt-NE in two weeks. That will be one great game. Agreed about TX part II.

So, K.C. doesn't have a prayer vs. Pitt in K.C.?

K.C. is good in all 3 phases. Tyreek Hill could change the game in favor of K.C. vs. Pittsburgh.

I think in the playoffs we forget about the teams on a bye. K.C. ain't going to roll over for the Steelers. It just sucks that the Pats have a cakewalk into the AFC CG.

If the Steelers do get by K.C., I agree it will be a great game vs. the Pats because I think K.C. would get steamrolled by the Pats.

I'm hopeful we get to see it

That is a bold statement man   I like it.

Packers 31 - Giants 17    That's how I'm feeling and that's what I'm rolling with.

I would have never thought that the Gints would score less and the Packers would score more than that prediction.

What a satisfying victory we got to watch today, I'm so proud of this team and feel so lucky to be a fan of them.

On to Arlington!!!

MM has a way of getting his team into another gear in the playoffs.  The biggest example being what they did in ARZ down to 5th string WR's.  Unless he's already used that gear to run the table, I would expect the unexpected on sunday.

The Pack is 3-5 in the playoffs the past 5 seasons, including wins over the Joe Webb quarterbacked Vikings and the 9-7 Redskins last year.

We all love the 2010 Super Bowl run, but other than the very close, very fortunate, and compelling victory over Dallas in 2014, I am having a hard time seeing how the Packers have reached another gear in the playoffs recently.

In 2014 they limped into the playoffs with AR's bum calf, beat a very hot DAL team and destroyed SEA @SEA for 56:00.  I'd call that another gear.  Last year they looked like dog**** the whole second half of the season and were running on fumes at WR.  They still beat WAS @ WAS and took a hot ARZ team to OT @ AZ.  The same AZ team that trucked them a couple weeks before.  I'd call that another gear.  The only game where a MM team clearly fell apart in the playoffs was 2011.

I'd also call today's game another gear.

In case anyone was wondering: the crow was delicious, my drive into work immediatly after the game provided great sports radio time, and I don't think anyone died because of me during my shift.

Also, I have finished collecting data for a recent study, and have concluded that except for the very young and very old 92.7% of porch accidents involve alcohol.

Finally, another tip from DocBenni:  If you come in complaining of belly pain, yet you don't feel it necessary to stop eating cheetos while I'm examining you, then I have no option other than to conclude that you have nothing wrong with you.  (from a medical standpoint)

I'm not eating any crow in this thread.

CAPACKFAN95's  gratuitous hissy fit aside, the reason you don't pull a photo stunt like that is not only that you expose yourself as a "look-at-me" narcissist and all-around showboating POS, you empower your opponent and galvanize fans of the whole sport against you for no good reason, other than you wanted a picture of you and your friends acting like showboating gangster-ass twats with their shirts off.

You put your desire to have that photo on social media above all else, and caused an unnecessary distraction that directly caused you to not only look like complete dumbasses, but hurt your team's image and chances of winning. You did all that before the game and before you did anything to deserve it.

That is just classic setting yourself up for failure and all- around douchery. You are worthy of all the derision that you're now getting nationwide.

Again, the word "fag" had nothing to with sexuality in this context and to the extent anyone is offended by it, you should not have been, since it meant nothing against you. But since apparently the LGBT community has decided otherwise, I won't use it again.

End of rant.

P.S. Screw you too, El-Ka-Bong, ya snivelly little A-hole.
