Subject: Curious about a poll

Hi Lori, I hang out on a Packer forum where, let's say, my opinions aren't widely accepted. The latest is my opinion is on the backup QB. It is of my opinion that a team who considers itself a playoff contender would be better suited with a veteran, experienced backup. Names I've tossed out are Gus Frerotte, Brian Griese, etc. I've even gone to the bottom of the barrel with JP Losman and Jaime Martin. My theory is the team would be better suited with a vet in two crucial situations:

1. Record at 7-5 in a crucial Nov/Dec game and Arodg gets a concussion in the third quarter and they need some one who can muster up a couple of drives to win the game.

2. Arodg has to miss a couple of games and they need to muster up at least one win.

I don't think (from what I've seen) that Flynn or Brohm can do that yet. Neither of them has even done anything in preseason and it is of my belief that Flynn has benefited from how bad Brohm has been. Note, if this wasn't a contender, I'd be cool with the two untested players behind the second year starter. Anyway, I'm wondering if you could post a poll on JSO and see what the masses think of this and maybe I can prove that my theory isn't as wacked as some think it is. It seems that there is a big pack on that forum I hang on that all band together no matter what the opinion is. Thanks and keep up the good work!
