Beyond time for that to happen especially the defense.  Can you imagine how good AR can be with a real defense to help the team out?

That 2015 Hail Mary vs. the Lions in Detroit, that was something you can probably count on 1 hand the number of guys in history that could have made a throw like that.  And even if they could throw it as hard and far as Rodgers, could they put that ball in just about a perfect spot which was just beyond the goal line where Richard Rodgers lumbered to?

Rodgers has certainly made more important throws than that one, but that one is probably my favorite just because of how incredibly high that thing went for what was around a 70 yard throw.  Other guys probably short arm the throw or throw it with a low enough trajectory that it's easier for a defender to knock down.  The way Rodgers throws it, if a defender isn't exactly in the right position, he won't be able to knock it down.  There's always a certain amount of luck in making that kind of throw, but the way Rodgers throws it gives him a better percentage of completing those Hail Mary passes than any QB I have ever seen.

Oh you got that right with the hail Mary pass in Detroit.  One other favorite was the pass to Cook during the Cowboys playoff game (2016?)  on the run.  Not many QBs could have put in that exact spot.

At the end of regulation, in a road playoff game, rolling to his left, across his body, with a guy about to bury him. 

60 yards with a perfect trajectory. If the defense wouldn't have Dom'd up the OT, this would be talked about much more. 

Of course, we could have a 200 page thread about how they should have gone for 2 right after this to really make it legendary. 

Hail Marys are nice but there's a lot of luck involved.  This is my favorite AR throw... you talk about pinpoint accuracy.

I am really curious to see how much playing time AR gets, and how effective he is in the new offense.  I am convinced the team needs more live-play to get on the same page.  

On a different note, have you seen 538's analysis on AR?  Its a pretty pessimistic perspective, but the data analytics seem convincing.  (I blame TT, MM and DC for much of the statistics they present.)

Agree. The slants seemed to disappear from the offense the last few years. Not having a decent TE for years (RichRod!) hurt too. 

I agree that he needs to play to get in rhythm with his teammates and the offense. But they aren't going to be showing anything other than running basic stuff...don't expect much from the starting offense tonight. 

Interesting article. I think the drop in averages is mainly due to the MM stagnation, injuries, and absolutely horrible guard play. 

Please, someone show that article to Rodgers.

Domestic beers were selling for $8.25 for a 16-ounce can at Lambeau Field last year. If Rodgers succeeds in his campaign to get those prices down, he’ll become even more popular in Green Bay.

The best method for improving crowd noise  at Lambeau, honestly?  It's keeping the oldest season ticket holders at home.

Before you start flaming, understand that my parents were season ticket holders.  It didn't matter how many times I explained the concept of the 12th to them, they simply didn't get it.  They were right there with their cronies yelling "Down in front!"

That problem has gotten a lot better with a new generation of season ticket holders, but the new generation presents an even worse problem: selling season tickets online for profit.  Unfortunately for us, Lambeau is a bucket list destination for fans of other teams, and that's where untold numbers of tickets end up. 

I'm not sure what the solution for that could be.  Unfortunately for us also, Packer fans are nice people, with their priorities in order.  Everyone wants to come to Green Bay.  That's not something you can say about any of our division rivals, for example, or places like Oakland or Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

That play was made because of the speed, grace and agility of that amazing receiver.

He should still be playing, he was misused,

He's got a lot of tread left on the tires. 

One of my favorite Rodgers plays didn't even count. I believe it was against the Bears, Rodgers scrambles per usual all over the place as he's getting dragged to the ground he tosses the ball to the ends zone for a TD, but it was called back on a holding call. Brutal call on an amazing play. I couldn't find vid of the play I'm thinking of. Maybe someone else has a better memory of the play.
