I don’t know if the Bears had some guys out vs the Vikes on offense that they’ll get back for this game, but they looked as inept offensively as any team I’ve seen this year. The Pack needs to make sure they don’t give the Bears any easy scores like they have vs Jags and Colts.

One thing that will help the Packers players get over Indy is to come out and just throttle the Bears. My worry though is the defense will figure out a way to make the Bears offense look like world beaters.
I don't think this is going to be a blowout. The Bear's defense is too good. As many have said, the coaching staff has to develop a plan that doesn't allow your weaknesses in personnel or scheme to get you beat (a mistake-prone UDFA returning kicks, a WR with track speed handling the ball in traffic on a play you would normally call for a slot guy or a RB, having a Pro Bowl pass rusher covering WRs, playing dime defense on the first 7 plays of the second half to allow them to established a running game).
If you are going to get beat, make them beat your best, not your worst.
Just heard the extended "We've got a defense" quote from ARod after last season's 10-3 opening game W over the Bears.
He actually said "We've got a defense ... that mostly sucks but is better than the shitty Bears offense."
That should the case on Sunday night at Lambeau.

There's one clear option to stick at the top of our rankings, and it's a team that should be in every teaser this week: the Packers. Aaron Rodgers and Co. suffered an overtime loss against a good Colts team last week, and now they square off against a Bears team coming off the bye. Despite having two weeks to prepare for this game, it's unlikely the Bears have found a magic elixir for their mediocre offense, and therefore it seems unlikely they'll be able to keep up with the Packers in this matchup.
The Bears followed up an awful performance against a defense that had been historically bad on third downs at the time (Titans) with an offensive dud for the ages, gaining just 149 yards of offense against the Vikings on primetime. Funny you should mention that. I was in the parking lot outside the stadium trying to find a ticket with $900 in my pocket (no luck) and I saw that bus roll in and the Packer players looked bored. Jerk Holmgren had not poured cold water on the idea of him going elsewhere that week so he could be coach AND GM (How'd that work out Mike?) and all the Bronco fans I ran into that weekend thought the game would play out exactly as it did, that the Pack would be overconfident due to all the "they won the Super Bowl when they beat the 49ers the week before" garbage. Saw the Stealth bomber fly overhead and drove back to Bakersfield.
